ArtVandalay
Maybe rain? The Turf has not seen a game with rain yet. #25 AA is playing and that is a good sign for the Indians. Just a wild guess but I am saying #32 Sensabaugh has success running ball and the Indians D will give up yards between the 20's but the scores will be hard to come by for the Cherokees. Tribal War Indians 14 Cherokees 13 Roll Tribe Roll

tricitiessportsfan
The Lady Indians soccer team concluded their season tonight, losing 1-0 to Brentwood in the Semi-Final round of the Girls Soccer State Tournament. They finish their season with a 21-3-3 record, setting a school record for wins at 21 victories. Departing seniors are forwards Tori Head and Chelsea Strickland, and defensive specialist Abbie Cooper. Returning are seven talented juniors and a handful of sophomores. Congratulations ladies on your successful season, you made your school, its alumni, and community proud. Let us show our support in applause tomorrow night, as they will surely honor them at some point during the game. Also, don??™t forget that tomorrow is senior night for the band. I would assume they will honor the seniors before kickoff, so we should have a halftime show to take in. Get ready folks, Friday night lights is less than a day away. Hear the drums, see the walk, fear the Tribe.

tricitiessportsfan
A band dad said it was at the half, I hope not. I want to hear them play as well. Bummer. Make sure you get there around 6:30 if you want to see 'The Walk'. I keep forgetting TSSAA Playoff games start at 7:00. Roll Tribe.
BatmanDB
Bummer. Make sure you get there around 6:30 if you want to see 'The Walk'. I keep forgetting TSSAA Playoff games start at 7:00. Roll Tribe. It's one of the all time east Tennessee traditions in football,I love the walk. Last fridays game with the Science Hill seniors coming over during the end of the walk, reminded me of A Tennessee vs Vandy game years ago.Vandy and Tennessee got together during the end of the pregame with a talking and pushing match and it fired Tennessee up.I thought DB got a little fired up to start the game.I could understand the SH seniors not being happy, but don't mess with a man while he is doing the walk! Roll Tribe!! It's early on game day now and I'm ready for the rain and game time.Enough backseat coaching from me,I've said what I think, now it's time to sing the song and watch the walk.I just hope the team is ready and everyone plays hard without any injuries.Roll Tribe and let's march forward
TribeFan
As I have read and witnessed all week it is apparent that DB is focused on McMinn and the task at hand. It will be a tremendous challenge for the cherokees to travel to DB and beat a very solid football team. Sure DB has the tradition and of course they have "The Walk" which is something to see if you havent and they have a very tallented football team plus an experienced coaching staff. So one would think that McMinn doesnt stand much of a chance but not so quick my friend. While DB is a good football team I dont think that they are better than Ooltewah or Farragut teams that McMinn competes againist in Region 2 5A. The intimidation factor will not be something that McMinn has to deal with because they are use to playing teams that have winning traditions. They are actually excited about the opportunity to witness "The Walk" and compete in the awesome high school football setting. When you place 16 & 17 year old kids on a football field anything can happen and most of the time will. One thing you can count on from the cherokees is that they will play hard and will give there best effort. McMinn shocks DB in a thriller? McMinn 27 DB 24 GO TRIBE!!!! LongtimeDBfan
With all of these DB experts on here, will somebody tell me why Mike Hamilton was at DB on Tuesday? I heard through the rumor mill that he is interested in Coach Clark and Coach Watson coming to Knoxville. Is this true? I could see Clark and Watson doing a much better job than Clawson and Chavis! Somebody tell me something PLEASE!
