broadbat
I heard that Red Bank Coach Tim Daniels has discovered he played an ineligible player all year, so the team's record is officially 0-4 instead of 7-4. Is there more to it than that? Who's the player? What happened?
clevelandblueraiderfan
does that make us region champs? are the playoffs going to start over? lol just kidding, but all in all, if true it means nothing at this point in the year. FBEmeritus
Coach Tim Daniels is a classly guy. What is the purpose of the T$$AA collecting money for a fine? man, the T$$AA continues to be all about money. Good job Coach, you are a stand up guy. Good luck next year. soddydaisy48football
gotta say, this was a classy thing to do. most coaches are too proud to admit a mistake. but i agree, im sure the T$$AA will have something to say
devilsden
I agree, he did what some would not do. That makes him a great person in my book. BUT, my question is this, how in the world did they screw up and make the mistake in the first place?
Indian
I think the article said it was just a missed bad grade from the spring, if the coach had not turned it in it would never even have been known at all.
FootballDad
Good job coach /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> Doing the right thing is not always easy. Your actions set a good example for us all. I'm sure you earned a great deal of respect from your peers and others for this honest action. You gave your players a better gift with this lesson than going undefeated. /flower.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":flower:" border="0" alt="flower.gif" />
Indian
http://timesfreepress.com/news/2008/nov/24...daniels/?sports This was admirable but I think the writer (a Red Bank guy from a long time back) goes a little overboard here. It might have been a monumental decision had it taken place just before the playoffs began, especially during one of Red Bank's successful seasons, not after it was the season is over.
