Since ImaOWL isn't doing the website anymore, I have no idea on who to send them into now so the webpage can be updated.

 

 

With the internet being the communication source for the future, it would be nice if Ooltewah High School had an elective class for website development. Or at least a club or student group who would take the bull by the horn and keep the community updated. I have no contact with the school except for coming to the games on Fridays. I did find a partial basketball schedule on here so that I can go see some of the basketball games.

We're working on a plan to get as many as possible in the stands on Friday. Expect a pretty good crowd tailgating before the game. I have a son in the band, too and know that, because of limited funds, they aren't going to be able to bring everyone. My son is riding with us to make room for someone else. Looks like we'll have 50 - 60 pieces there, though.

 

Any construction we need to be aware of that might slow us down on Friday? I know if it stays cold and we get the rain that Monteagle might be a problem but hopefully that will all hold off 24 hours!

 

 

 

Construction near Ooltewah STINKS. They have opened a new portion of road near the school, but traveling on I75 on a Friday of a holiday weekend is going to be disastrous I am sorry to say. Allow yourself an extra hour /blush.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":blush:" border="0" alt="blush.gif" />

Parking is at a premium on our campus.....many park along the roadside.....get there early.

 

Travel safely.

Say what you will, we tend to let our guys do the talking on the field for us. Immensely proud of our guys no matter what happens friday night

Not at all. But in so often in these games, you are going to have a hard time throwing up stats or numbers that havent been heard before. The game itself is going to be pretty even, it will just come down to who executes the best.

One more thing that may help your trip be more pleasant. There is only one sit down NON-FAST FOOD restaurant in Ooltewah and it is the Cracker Barrel. Ooltewah is exit 11 but if you stop at exit 5 then you will find plenty of places to eat around Tennessee's largest shopping mall. There is construction and normal heavy traffic between the mall and our exit so be sure to allow enough time. For those who would like to make a weekend of it, there are many hotels at that the mall exit also. You can visit the Chattanooga Visitors Bureau website for area attractions, lodging and eateries. And as far as gas prices go... Ooltewah normally has the best gas prices around the Chattanooga area. I am sure our announcer guy, Steve Ray, would love for you to stop at Midnight Oil on your way to and from the school. lol I know that is a shameless plug but you will see all of Ooltewah's happenings are brought to you by some business. You would think you were at a NASCAR race. Buckle up and drive safely, I know how much I hate driving during the holidays.

Make sure and save some money for the concession stand the band can use the money. Also remember we are on EST time not CST. So you need to plan accordingly.

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!

      I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
