Just curious Vader that you continue to rank Hampton where you do after their poor performance in their christmas tournament where they lost two of three and looked very bad in doing so.

They definately did not look very bad in their losses in the Christmas tournament! The teams in the tournament were some of the best small schools in N. Carolina! Madison Co. did not even dress a sophomore and their frontline starters were 6'9, 6'6, and 6'5. Hampton led them by 10 in the 2nd half. The big guy goaltended at least 2 shots in which only one was called! D. Hill being in foul trouble in the 2nd half is the only thing that caused them to get beat. Hampton also led Highland Tech for a lot of the game and wind up only losing by 4! Highland Tech went on the the championship game and beat a very good First Assembly team to get there. As far as Hampton looking bad, that is simply not true! I actually think they played pretty well and those losses will only help them as the season goes along!

well, they kicked Unaka's teeth in once already. I know Unaka is improved, but you can't put them ahead of Hampton until they at least beat the Dawgs. Unaka beat Rockwood so Hampton's ahead of them. I have seen Cloudland play, and I believe Hampton is the better of the two. And Wartburg beat Cloudland by 4, and I believe Hampton is 4 points better than the Landers at this point. I dont really have a reason for putting the Dawgs in fron of Oliver Springs. A week ago, lot of people from Roane Co. were saying that Rockwod was better than Oliver Springs. And I don't see anybody Oliver Springs has beat that would make me think that they are alot better than Hampton if at all. My #5 and #6 are purty much interchangeable though...

Vador i wouldn't be so confident if I was you. Yes, Hampton is probably the best team in the conference as of right now, but this conference is going to be a brawl this year. I know it and you know it. Quite frankly, I cant wait to seen how everything folds out at the end. Should be some good games in carter co. in the near future. I might jut have to come sit with ya to get ya all riled up. haha

I'm not too confident. I'm just saying that you can't put Unaka ahead of the Dawgs until they beat Hampton. Cloudland is going to be a tough team too when they get Potter back from injury. You need to come sit with us tomorrow when we play Johnson Co. at Hampton. Should be a good game...

    • Jason Lambert should be the only choice for the Baseball coaching position.
    • From the stats I found online it looks like Gabe Eddington- .484, 44 total hits, 43 runs scored and 42 stolen bases.Meanwhile, on the mound, the Austin Peay commit had a record of 8-2, while compiling 50 innings pitched with an ERA of 1.82. Carson Parrott - 7-0 overall as a starting pitcher with a 1.41 ERA, 95 strikeouts and a save in 53 and 1/3 innings pitched. Parrott hit .392 with 3 home runs, 21 RBIs with a .566 OBP and .716 SLG. Jaxon Walker - .454, 53 hits, 38 RBI’s, 9 HRs.   Not saying the other three aren’t deserving but Quillen had better BA than all three and was just as dominate pitching.  Like I said I don’t know how you leave off the 3a Baseball player of the year last year when he put up better numbers.  I know Greeneville’s Coach wasn’t happy about it saying “I don’t give a s*** what anybody else says. That kid is the best player in Tennessee, and everybody else on our team rises to his level“.  I’m sure winning another State Championship as a junior is more important to Carson than the individual award, it’s just a head scratcher to not be nominated
    • What coach in their right mind would want to come here and set theirself on fire to keep her warm.
    • Shoulder not going to the #### show .   Macon will name the score this year.
    • Plenty of time. The former coach was busy with family and disappeared all summer anyway. Obvious choice has the same family issues. First game is in March 2025.
