URSUS
Best guess is that this will be an "inside job" but will have the requisite dog and pony show hiring process. /dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="
DAD1
If someone doesn't step forward and demand a sincere effort to get the best available I'm afraid the administration will take the easiest possible route. I look for either a promotion from within, a return of a previous employee, or someone from another WC school.

Lost Old Dad
Who ever it is needs to be picked soon for spring training and so the other school they get him from can find a replacement if they do get one from another school. rappy
All I can say is it been the whose-who of football from this state and others...very competitive. One coach from neighboring state applying has four straight championships under belt and some of the others 39 coaches have state with championships and/or close to state playoff. That may all sound good but personally but I would put Coach Tom Shuman over all of them. He is as good as anyone could ask for, especially with his West Virginia style spread offense he brought in 2004 and his alliance and dedication of assistant??™s coaches. Coach Rector??™s expertise was with the defense and Shuman has been with the offense over the years. The only reason you might not heard of Tom Shuman, it was because we wanted to keep him under raps, knowing Coach Rector wanted to move up to college ball scene. Hopefully, the administration at Ravenwood will make the right choice and you can hang on to your coaches so it won??™t make a mess of things as cascading event of Coaches switching jobs during the spring season. If there is a good coach in the building,he should get the job. Sounds like this one should be given the oppotunity.
