I have a question. If you have posted on this thread, how many fields do you think you have seen in your life? If it is less than 50, you don't really have much to go on. If all of you have seen a lot of fields, then I apologize.

 

 

In my life? LOL!! Probably got close to 50 in 2008. South Carolina 8, East Cobb plus area HS Ga 4, Va. 2, NC 2, East TN 20?, Cleveland area 4, Murfrees 3, Franklin 2, Nashville 4 just off the top of my head.

Couple of favs...Riverdale, Morristown East, Cardinal Park

 

With the turf....DB is a whole diff deal. One of the nicest at any level.

now that would ruin the fun wouldn't it? but yes, i play on that field 6 days out of the week. By the way i like bearden's new wall and dugout fences. Now i can see instead of having that yellow plastic in my line of sight. /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> And the mound was very nice

I set the bar at a modest number. I just don't like the posts of people who have only seen fields in one area. If you have never been out of Murfreesboro, or Chattanooga, or whatever place you are in, then you need to get out and see other places. Every area has fields that are beautiful and people need to get around and try to see them. They might even catch a good high school baseball game in the process!

DB has an AMAZING field.

 

 

I thought reading the heading we were talking about baseball fields/facilities. Somehow half way thru people got off track. I notice most everyone were talking about east and middle Tn. fields. In West Tn. Ripley High School field is the best in this area. The Ripley Park staff (Green Team) and high school staff do excellant job maintianing the field.

How bout the valley teams? Sequatchie county has one of the nicest fields in tn. it was nominated for the best field.

Oh and I forgot to mention Walker Valley Academy i think it is? It's a pretty nice field got to watch several ball games there over the summer. Farragut and Catholic are both nice too. And i haven't seen sequatchie. Is it worth the drive?

Fields in Middle TN by class:

AAA- Oakland, Riverdale, Blackman

AA-Creekwood, Goodpasture, Page

A- Friendship

 

 

FCA? Really? I've played there and it seems really old.. REALLY old. Its a decent place to play but like I said.. everything was practically molding lol. The grass needed to be cut also.. but that can easily be fixed.

 

I've played at Goodpasture too. I love the hill in the outfield!

      Im asking everyone to keep roy whited and his family in your prayers. Coach whited won back to back state championships at white county in 98-99. He is very well liked and respected in this area. For those of you that dont know he went missing 3 days ago. No one knows where he is. His truck was found in a rural part of the county. Thanks again. We are all very concerned.

      West would be a good team to get behind if they can pull it off again like last year. That championship game last year was awesome.

      I say that because he stepped out of a MUCH better situation on his own than he would see at least his first 3 years at DCA and it would take at least that much to bring him back to coaching. There are other fish in the sea, but again money talks. Need to fix the girls hoops too. Now I'll try again. Who has Pierce locked in for his staff? Hearing a McGavock man but not the Iceman.

      I’ve heard mostly good things from the gridiron. Lots of optimism. It sounds like the portal has mostly helped, though there are a few expected defections. Comeback year!

      Rudesell 1 year at Crockett. Coach Tate 2 weeks a Bradford. South Gibson supposedly going with jcs middle school coach. Which isn’t who I thought would get it, I know the top 2 was between him and Obion girls head coach.
