And who taught ethics? Those statistics mean nothing to me. I could care less about where they live right now, I know the zoning rules, but wonder if they all really "hail" from Williamson County...or if mysteriously, some of the top athletes in the southeast picked the Franklin area as their most desired living environment in the last coulpe years. Don't give me that crap...I know the syatem..ayou can do your sales pitch elswhere. Frankly, I'm not going to respond anymore because I know that you know you are just kidding yourself trying to rationalize and find some mjust value to the situation b/ce it does not exist.

Ethics was taught by another very fine professor in business school. I seem to remember one of the lessons was that if you are trying to make a case, use facts and back them up...don't simply demean people and argue emotionally.

Wildcatfan, you went to BGA, which means that we can probably suppose you don't live in or go near Bordeaux on a regular basis. I read from your post a bunch of blanket accusations with no real meat behind them. If you can find FACTS about how many people from Bordeaux go to BA (Zero, by the way...I go there, I would know), you might have us thinking. But you have no argument because you have no facts. This, of course, is unlike previous posts by Itzme, who has more than proven his point through research and statistics.

On a different note, good luck in Knoxville with Bob and the boys. I hope things go well for you, and I'm looking forward to being up there next year. Oh, and TF told me about the Clinic Bowl. It's unfortunate, but gives me an answer to my dilemma. Talk to you later.

I have seen BA shirts in that area- I am not from Bordeaux, but I have done some political campaigning in that area. None the less, BA was guilty as charged by the TSSAA, and Carlton Flatt wanted back in, thus a successful Tom Moore was shown the door. Let those facts speak for themselves. And to itzme- isn't it stereo typing to classify those from Bordeax as "homies". I don't think that was warranted- not everyone in North Nashville is a "homie". If you knew me, you'd certainly know I'm no homie. My point was that the folks in north nashville were wearing shirts because BA draws (or used to draw) some of thier athletes from that area.

 

As for the BA situation, I'll just let all you eagle fans think your program is beyond any suspicion. I guess the TSSAA unfairly targeted your school a few years back. Next thing you know you'll be seeing black helicopters flying overhead spying on your program.

 

I actually liked your program under Tom Moore- he was a great guy. I have lost whatever respect that I had for the Eagle program.

No stereotyping intended. My understanding is that a "homie" is someone from your neighborhood. I was simply jesting with you that you are from Brentwood, not Bordeaux. I apologize if offense was taken.

I don't even live in Nashville, so you didn't offend me. Anyway, we'll see who wins AAA. From what I've heard no reason BA shouldn't be there- they have the athletes to do it.

How can u say that we recruit football players. Everyone of our starters with maybe a exception of one or two has been at BA since sixth and 7th grade. Those sixth and seventh graders include all of our black athletes except Barry Turner a sophmore and i dont even know of anyone else. How can u tell how good a football player is gonna be in sixth and seventh grade. Darren Mustin our star middle linebacker didnt even start in middle school football. I dont even understand these recruiting allegations.

If they won't then just go down to the libraray and look up sports pages from the time when the scandal first broke. Maybe that will help you to understand.

It seems to me that all you people do is find time to bash BA. Where is your proof? BABOB is exactly right, go to the Supreme court and find BA's proof (boxes of it, I might add) and go from there. It appears that you folks just don't like BA (and that's fine, u r entitled to supporting one school or another) but it is not ok to bash another school when: 1. You don't have all the facts, and 2. You can't back yourself up because u are just going off speculation. So from now on, I would like to see proof, cold hard facts, not just refrences to the TSSAA case (that BA won) or speculative newspaper or other articles that don't have their facts straight.

Where was Troy Fleming zoned to go to school? Does BGA have zoning lines I don't know about? Also, didn't the Coleman kid from Stratford attend your school for awhile? I guess they were admitted because they were Rhodes scholars. Next you will tell me you would have won all of those games without Fleming on your team.
