I was up there too... Lester is amazing!

 

I'm looking forward to tomorrow night as well. The roads are pretty much clear here and over half of the snow is melted out of the front yard. There should be school in Gibson Co. tomorrow.

School is cancelled in Jackson Madison Co for tomorrow. There is a school board policy that if you don't go to school then you don't play ball. (Nothing extra curricular). Wonder what is going to happen with this. Does NS just have to forfeit their game.

No, but the game will have to be played. You can't push it back another night. Sub-state for girls HAS to be played by Saturday as each team that makes state will find out who they play in the state tournaments at the drawing in Murfreesboro Sunday.

 

The way the schedule is set up right now is: girls semi's tomorrow night, boys semi's Tuesday, girls finals Thursday, boys finals Friday, sub-state for girls Saturday.

It would not be a tournment decision but a school board decision if NS was not allowed to play and had to forfeit. Also we were told by the Tournament director that the girls semis would be Monday, boys Tuesday, Girls final on Wednesday and Boys final on Thursday.

If they make NS forfeit, that'd be ridiculous! The roads are completely clear here in Gibson Co., over in the Dyer way anyways. As far as I know, school is still on for tomorrow in Gibson Co.

they could play 4 games in one day, would have to clear the gym, for the 2nd session. not good, but an option

The girls final is scheduled for Wednesday night........no chance North Side is made to forfeit. I'm speculating here but as long as they go to school on Tuesday, I would think they would be allowed to play.

Seem,s like i remember in 02, s side boys were granted an exemption to play a sub state game in giles cty.
