November, 2007: Spectacular run and jump athlete whose basketball IQ is nothing short of substantial for his age group. Prather is drawing the attention of major programs across the Southeast. They marvel at his ability to drop the three, although some mechanical tweaks could be made, and his aggressiveness in transition is what initially catches your eye. He explodes to the bucket and finishes with a flush or a huge gasp from admiring onlookers.

National Hoops Report Feb 2009

ranked number 21 Casey Prather, SF, Jackson (TN) North Side

Electric athlete with strong frame, evolving perimeter game and ball-handling skills. The Nashville Celtics shouldn't hang their heads after this game. It was a fine effort led by fine plays from some fine players.

Tournement of Champions one of the topp AAU events in the country

Rising junior Casey Prather looked like the best player on the floor at times in this one. The 6-foot-5 wing came out in the second half fired up and ready to play. The freakish athlete had a number of plays that displayed his natural talents. The class of 2010 prospect scored in the paint and finished with a game high 19 points.

He had a number of buckets in the midrange and dialed it in from deep once or twice. His perimeter game is getting better and better and becoming more and more of a threat in his arsenal. His progression has been fun to watch.

Plenty more to. CASE CLOSED. My last post about Casey Prather. People can believe whoever they want to.

yankees we don't agree on many things about coaching or fans but we are typically very similar in our views of players and potential.

I can't believe we have someone admitting to listening to this game on the radio and sayin he is not D1. If he is not D1 who is? Granted coaches all over the country will sign a kid and it not pan out but what about the others they spend time lookin at and they end up bein' big time. Prather is a BIG TIME athlete and he played what like a quarter and a half and had 17 pt.s that more than a pt a min.
