THSVikings2004
I dont mean to talk trash to you guys, I just thought you were looking past us...... Were suppose to be a pretty good team this year. If you knew about our last year team, our offense wont be close to how good it was then, but our deffense is gonna be pretty tough...... any word on the vikings upcoming season? Yeah I heard you guys were returning several players on defense.
Cap1
'04...some say that the Viking '09 O backfield will rival David Bibee and company. Is that a stretch? How do you feel about this? I think whoever said that was a bit delusional. I do, however, believe that the Vikings have the potential to have a powerful offense this year. Especially if they place Howard, Simmons, Davis, and Pendleton at WR. Looking back at last year and what the Vikings have coming back, you can't help but get excited. This year’s success (or lack of) will lay heavily on how the coaching staff utilizes the "bench" and of course the play calling… because all the specialty tools are in the bag! The Vikings could have the best QB, RB, and FB in this region. And on top of that Simmons (if given the chance) could be the most excitement as a return specialist since the "Dynamic Duo" Johnson and Anderson in 04'. Don't know much about the line but they will probably struggle early in the season but continue to improve every game in leaps and bounds. If one or two of the players you mentioned step up at WR we will surprise at least a couple of the super powers (DB, South, and Science Hill) this year! My boys have moved on... but I'm still holdin on to my seats at the Castle. So all you saints that thought that finally after six long years of listening to some crazed redneck maniac hollerin at your kids, the refs, and the coaches; you were now going to be able to sit quietly and enjoy the game peacefully (like Viking fans like to do it )….SURPRISE SURPRISE SURPRISE!!!! I truly believe that Howard, Davis, and Pendleton can step it up for the Vikes at WR. It may be hard to distinguish you from the other crazed redneck maniacs that will be at the Week 1 game. The only difference is they'll be sitting on the home side. Speaking of Week 1, what's your take on the Vike's opening game? The Patriots, in my opinion, are certainly not a team to overlook this year.

Yeah I expect the defense will be tested very early at the cow pasture.

All I can think about is...who's gonna be the first team of Vikings to ever loose to the Patriots . But in reality if this years Vikings Mentally prepare for week one (and we stay healthy) it should be a stroll. That is unless East got a boat load of transfers…I mean a BIG boat. Just gonna keep it real on all sides this year. Not that I haven’t always done so.

How’s my man doing? Will he see some burn this season? If so…I may have to get a ride down sometimes. Let me know.

bigdaddy69
I heard the Vikings have moved the Mo West Scrimage to East. is this true That's what has been said down here. They were trying to move the scrimmage due to the heavy rain here in Morristown yesterday and today. They're probably going to start it up around 4 or 4:30 at Burke-Toney Stadium. Looking forward to seeing what Tennessee High and Knox West have this season in this 3-way scrimmage.

One from Ohio, one from Richmond, and 3 from South Florida...all All Staters. It is what it is. He's currently at 200. No loss of speed. Much stronger. We'll see if he can hang. If he makes the rollers the weekends on me! Hope your's are doing fine!

THS is poised for a potentially great year. I need to complete my research before I post anything too giddy.
