I have already heard that Taylor Parks was not playing. Is this true?

My understanding is he has never recovered from knee replacement surgury from 2 years ago. I dont know if he is taking the spring off or if he has quit the team. He is a big boy and I'm sure they would miss him in the line. Any word on the scrimmages so far?

taylor parks did quit, but White house played gallatin on monday they have got alot of work to do, i think they had an off day they didn't look weak anywhere except reciever, they still have the skill they just need to put it together, i trust the coaches to. I think with the starters in, the score was like 2 to 1 gallatin. They play @ dekalb County thursday at 6.

It was 4-0 Gallatin with the first team. 6-2 overall. The White House qb looked like he was having an offday. It didn't help that Dixon went down on the second play either. His brother came in and looked ok before he went down. Some linemen left with injuries too. White House looked like they were really having a hard time filling some of the holes that they lost from last year. But Porter is one of the best coaches around. When the season starts the Blue Devils will be ready, always are. Good luck to ya'll this year.

DeKalb beat them yesterday

I'm thankful for White House taking the time and effort to come to DCHS and scrimmage us. Playing teams like White House who are always well coached and consistently solid is good preparation for the coming season. We did well last night, but a scrimmage is just a scrimmage.

We'll never forget the personal support they showed us at our last game in the playoffs during the loss of Coach Ed. I hope we can learn from White House's football program and their commendable hospitality. Thanks again, White House and good luck in the coming season.

Tell us more about this scrimmage. Smith County plays both of these this year, for the first time in a while. It will be interesting.

I'm not too sure about the facts all I know is that I go to the school and I heard them saying it was 21-7 using varsity then they threw in the freshman for practice and ended up winning 28-21.
