cchs2
Yea I wasn't sure if the gardner kid was coming back or not. What about the post player who started last year? He tore CCHS up everytime. Tee Howell is a good athlete so he can probably ball a lil too. How is South Doyle at basketball?

They were 3-23 playing in 4AAA with Maryville, Bearden, Farragut and crew. I think their leading scorer, Cody Baker graduated and their head coach (who is a really good young coach) left for Georgia. It could be very tough for the young men in South Knoxville. They did have some size last year in their freshman class. Toughest part is getting their more talented middle school players to go to S-D. I hear there is talent walking the halls but someone has to get them out on the court. PANTHER2331
Seymour will surprise a lot of people. They are still young with what should be their top 2 scorers and rebounders both Juniors but both have started at least part time since their freshman year. Very deep junior class and an exciting new coach that had a lot of success at Union County.
etsubucfan01
i talked with some of the coaches from cocke co the other day and they are excited about the upcoming year. they think brooks can score in the upper 20's and low 30's consistently marcus stewart should give a 1 2 punch that can average 50 or more a game they will be small, brooks is biggest kid at abot 6'3 or 6'4 but they are very athletic and can shoot the lights out. i still think it will come down to cocke co and m east
noonesfool
I know Greeneville is no longer in the IMAC, but will they continue to play any of the IMAC teams in the regular season? Thanks
cchs2
Greeneville plays a home and home with CCHS. Glad to see them stay on the schedule. Stewart probably leads the team in scoring with Brooks and Haney being 2nd and 3rd in scoring. Brooks can shoot the heck out of it. Haney can score in bunches. SouthKnoxPrince
Any current news on the boys from from South-Doyle? I had to stop going to the football games, they were unwatchable!! I thought they were headed in a positive direction two years ago, but last season was abissmal. Maybe the new district will help the basketball team like it did the girl's soccer team! TommyTrojan
I think West will surprise a lot of people this year. They have a very athletic and physical front line and a dynamic backcourt. GO TROJANS
