Whole staff? /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

I saw Leon Woodlee working on the field last Saturday night at about 9:30 when I was coming home from my aunt and uncle's anniversary party. Someone else was at that party that should be doing a lot but he doesn't really know what work is......and no it's not a coach. (Which can be applied to his present status and his past status. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> )

ANY NEW WORD OFF THR MTN?????? SOMEONE WAS SAYING, STILL LOTS OF OPENINGS, BUT SCHOOL IS JUST A FEW WEEKS AWAY????????????????????????????????

HOPEFULLY a story can be done this coming week about the staff. Unfortunately those on high...ie-the idiot in the top spot....hasn't given Coach Bryant permission to offically announce his staff. We could have done the story in early June had Nick been told his people were official. But he has to wait for permission for that and I'm still not sure he has it. I spoke with a board member in the last couple of days and asked him to see if things were "official" so we could take some pictures and run a story. Hopefully I can get something in the upcoming Herald. That way everyone can know who Nick has helping him.

Things must be looking good on the mountain. Rumor has it the boys at Grundy had a 3 week dead period. So when every other team in the state is hitting it hard the first chance they get after dead period, most of the Grundy coaches went to Disney. Confidence on the mountain must be high or this extremly young staff can't get enough of Mickey and friends. :thumb:

Other questions still have not been answered. Who are the coaches? Is Bryant calling both sides of the ball? Has anyone on this staff ever called a play before on D or O.

What are the expectations for this season better or worse than last year?

There will be a story giving background info on the coaching staff in this week's Grundy County Herald.

Grundy will scrimmage Moore County Friday at the old high school in Tracy City at 6:00. The quarterback club will begin selling BBQ plates at 4:00.

They will scrimmage at Whitwell the next Friday.

    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
