Rechelle Dye is one of the best players in the state, just not East Tennessee. Elizabethton may have graduated D1 center Mariah Pietrowski, but the Lady Cyclone cupboard is fully stocked with small college prospects. Chelsea Bowling, Cara Bowling, Kristen Powell, Jasmine Jefferson, Kamra Fritz, and Erin Kiser are all good athletes and good players. Cara Bowling, Kristen Powell, and Jasmine Jefferson should all have offers in basketball. Chelsea Bowling could go in basketball or golf. Fritz may get soccer and basketball opportunities and Kiser is good in basketball and softball. Go Cyclones!!!!!

Out of all of the girls named I would say Hall has the best chance of signing with a major Div. I school. The others will play in college but Hall has all of the skills needed for Div. I.

As far as Middle school players ??????

I've seen several (from Farragut, West Valley, cak, Halls, Webb, Farragut, Powell, etc...) that are pretty solid players but I don't think I've seen a stand-out. You know the player you watch and know she is going to be good.

I would have to add Shelby Hicks and Ansley Ricker from South Greene. I think Rechelle Dye has got a couple of D1 offers so I don't think only Taylor Hall is the only one going to play D1. She is awesome.

I saw Dye last year she is really skilled and a solid player. What DI schools have offered her!?

    • All high school coaching postions are year to year. At least in public schools.
    • Yes in the regular season. But once Westview's young kids got the experience from the season, they only lost to Dyersburg by a field goal in the playoffs. Westview was young last year. They will be tough this year
    • That is absolutely not the truth.  Few if any college coaches or school administrators want to be in the middle of legal proceedings if there is any way possible to avoid being caught in the middle.  With that being said I have two questions: 1.  Why would a coach remove any player from the team for using the F WORD?  Yes, I fully understand the player must be held accountable for her actions.  Maybe extra running and even a one game suspension but if every kid or coach that used improper language was kicked on the team or fired, they would have no players or coaches available to play the games. 2.  If there was truly another player or coach that witnessed this situation, and they agree with the player then by all means the coach should be held accountable for their actions.
    • 1st round exit?        For real ?!?!?!                     Oh wait.....    are we talking band or football?
    • Assistant football staff still the same? Any replacement for Brian Beaubien? Who will be the DC? Will there be anything going on this spring with football? I go watch practice often.
