I guess I will have to eat more crow with Purty having a good game. What is up with Farragut fans you guys hardly had any at the game friday plus last week with DB. For a program like they have had these past few years good night and the band to OR played three times as many songs (what ever you call it with a band) then Farragut ever did I thought they had some big band program.

I have been saying this for years. Since 2001!

I hoped the fan support picked up since they have had 4 good seasons. I'm sure DB and OR have more fans at their home games than FHS. I know they did in the past. If it's not Bearden or OR game than the Ad fans don't come. With the new line up of games it should be packed every game night.

Of course having pep ralleys before school can't help to much. :popcorneater:

The Cedar Bluff lephricans will be searching in the Meadows for some 4 leaf clovers as they skip down Kingston Pike towards deep west knoxville. With Cozart & company looking to out shine the big blue stars of Farragut, they may need a dusting of that magical Irish luck to escape drowning in the wake of the Admirals depth of talent, size & speed. Catholics cupboard isn't bare and should provide an early test for the slow starting Admirals. But once the big blue ship starts sailing the Irish will be left stranded.

When's baseball season start? Farragut by 21+. Too many athletes: Van Dyne, Browning, Purty are all D-1 players. Welcome to the big leagues Catholic & Maryville. Hope yall had fun while it lasted. :thumb:

I would love to know who you are and place a bet with you on this. Van Dyne, Purty maybe but Browning there is NO WAY he is a D-1 players good arm but that is it. Might want to look at the D-1 QB's and see what there size plus 40-times are. It would really surprise me to see any of this two go to D-1 schools Farragut just does not do a good job at all helping players get D-1 or any college for that matter. Doesn't make any since.

Farragut has never had that much fan support... for any sport since I can remember. Baseball wins back-2-back championships, and still no one goes to games. Soccer can win all day long and everyone acts like they don't exist. Rigger is right. If it isn't Bearden no one cares... which is a shame. With the town having 17,000+ people, there is no reason the stadium can't be completely full for any sport come game night.

edit.. Friday should be an interesting day at school since all the kiddies will be getting trashed before, during, and after the game. :thumb:

another one... Farragut has a good "halftime" band. Other than their "show" they don't do anything but stand around and play "anchors aweigh" when we score.. with the occasional "go, fight, win" thrown in. IMO they aren't a good football atmosphere band.. they should just stick to going to competitions.

You don't follow Catholic's history name a Knoxville school (not Blount County) that has sent more players to D-1A schools than Catholic? I can think of a few since 2007, Harrison Smith (Notre Dame), Daniel Hood (UT), Jake Farris (Duke), Conner Irwin (Duke), TJ Franklin (Cincinnati), Nick Branum (UT), I can't remember his name but he played Linebacker and signed with University of Buffalo, Evan Sanders (Air Force). IAA Matt Pfleger (University of Dayton), Garrett Trussler (Gardener-Webb) couple of lineman down at Tennessee Tech, and I'm sure I'm missing out on others. Besides you named 3 (Browning questionable, probably 1AA) but KCHS has some players getting D-1 looks too Dorian Cozart, Zack Tait, Spencer Mackle, Spencer Roth, and some players that will be looked at one day. But alas it's not 3 on 3 or KCHS past vs. Farragut's that's why you play not on paper. It amazes me that people in Knoxville say welcome to the big leagues. Everywhere KCHS has gone they've had to listen to that and when they do have some success it's because they cheat. A-E, Webb, Fulton, Alcoa, and Maryville have done well in the past playing in 2A, 3A, 5A and DII, But because it's Farragut it's the "big time", show me your rings or give us a break. Over the last few years the biggest names you've pla You're only big time in your head. I have a hard time believing Farragut has more athletes and speed than A-E or Fulton (Alcoa too). Hey Irish 423 will that wake you up?

And he was cut loose this spring from Scotts Hill. Heard him in a interview a few month back and he inspired me. He needs to be back home in the Purple & Gold, regardless of if he is HC or not or even if he doesnt coach at all, his presences will improve the environment. But Again, I have no clue if he would even be interested.

Not much shot to win a state title at Macon but could very well be a contender with the talent coming up through the peewee and junior high ranks in TC I hear. He my dark horse candidate. trousdale co fans could also brag to their neighbors that they talked their best coach into coming to TC on a year of such high expectations at Macon co.
