What is the reason for playing at TTU? If they do.

Poor condition of the field. After all the rain last Friday night, rain all this week plus poor draining at the Hole, only makes sense to move to a suitable playing field. Glad that Coach Maynord has the influence to get the Tech field.

influence might be alright, but who is footing the bill on this one?tech doesnt loan their field for nothing.

If it were to cost anything....think we can count on the southside for a little financial assistance?? Can I go ahead a write you down for a small donation?? They're not loaning there field for nothing....they are loaning it for something...SC football. :D

What a bunch of wusses, scared to play in the mud. Dont wanna tear the field up, wa wa wa. Friendship tried that on TC last year. Moving the game from Fri to Sat. It didnt work for them and it probably won't work for SC. Is the TTU playing surface the same as Chicken Countys' "indoor arena"?

The expert on wusses has spoken. Shes a lady. Belittles and bad mouths kids, and calls somebody else wusses?? Well, he would know. :D Man, what a genious plan. What was it they "tried"?? Maybe confuse TC and hope for a no show?? How did Creasy AGREE to such a devious and masterful plan?? Evidently it must have confused you, if you thought it was something they "tried".

So what's the other water logged schools to do? Didn't know TTU had a first come first served policy. What type of turf or surface is at TTU?? Are these kids used to it? Will they need special shoes for it ?? I must say tho, choices of places to eat is much better .. and that's pretty important to some posters right?? lol As for me, I'll hang out in G-ville rain or shine, mud bog or not .. maybe it drains better there ... ya think? :D

Blubelz.....Didn't Moose go to MTSU like Maynord went to TTU?? I thought it was always sunny on the southside.Them boys from Difficult, Flat Rock, Rome,Rock City, and Riddleton don't were shoes much anyway. They'll probably play barefooted. The rest will probably wear tennis shoes. That's what they did in the spring game there.

I know it drains better in G-ville. As many tears as was shed 3 weeks ago, if it didn't drain well, there would STILL be a foot of water there.......Sorry ...could help myself....again.

termite,i make a donation every year around february.under the wheel tax plan,i was under the impression that this went to building schools, not playing on other peoples football fields.shame, shame, for abusing our tax money like that.why didnt dc let the game be played on their field?i guess the tax payers would like an answer from maynord or the school board, about what this will cost us.its not like the field cant be fixed.thats what football is,dirt and mud and grits.my school played on techs field for years, but the school system had to pay.so,thats my question, what is it costing us?oh! buy the way,i went to school with watson brown and his brother.two good men.

And WE appreciate your donation. :D Other people's football field?? It's a state school, I pay state taxes. Same thing ain't it??? Dirt, mud,and GRITS?? I wondered what that was I stepped in.

For the uninformed, which you seem to be, SC's program does pretty good on it's own. IF, IF it cost anything.....it's covered. Who do you think pays for the little extras the SC gets? The chartered buses for long away games and extra things for the players? The supporters of the program. Just like the practice facility. The SC QB club runs both consession stands, sells clothing, advertising, reserved seats, and other things to make money, which ALL goes back into the program. All you G-ville supporters keep tailgating at home games, and doing the type of things that take money FROM the Big Blue program and then complain about what SC has and does. Your welcome to come over and help get the field ready anytime to save some of your tax dollars, but bring your on tools.

Maybe you should have called ole Watson....then G-ville could be spending MY wheel tax. :D

Oh Termie dear I do believe you're correct about Moose attending MTSU, blue has always been a good color for him. I simply cannot believe that the Carthage fans would settle for a non draining soggybottom field. I know for fact that your fans over there provide the team with all the state of the art toys available, why skimp on the field??

As for the tears on the field bit .. that was three weeks ago, I doubt there was tears, TIGERS don't cry ... do they Moose?
