SHS1
Seymour and Sevier County play Thursday on TV. Thoughts?
tnfootball4
I think if sevier co overlooks them it could backfire.
BIGblueLBs36
I think the Bears will be looking for a little revenge from last year, so theres no way they overlook this game! I like the Bears by at least a couple scores.
Red Rebels
Where is this game being played?
bearsmom
Game is at Sevier County with a 7:00 start time. Come early and eat. The Culinary Arts class will be having BBQ ribs, sandwiches, burgers and lots of other good food.
fsutandem
Ohh my , Ohh my Seymour and Sevier County. Sevier County will not over look this game. And actually I look for them to be more excited about this game than all the ones they play this year. Ohh and did I mention Seymour comes to the Bears Den. WOOT WOOT!! What fun it will be . I hope that every residence in Sevier County attends this game and TIVO's it on T.V. with a DVR and make this a night for all the players to remember.. Good Luck Eagles but I pick Sevier County by 7.. Final Score 7-0..But if Sevier County is clicking on all cylinders Sevier County wins by 20 or more. SHS1
Good luck to the Eagles. Will the rivalry ever get back to the way it was back in the 80's?
tnfootball4
Yeah that would be nice. I can't remember the last time Seymour won twice in a row. it should be a great game. Seymours defense has did a great job so far. Their offense has struggled but Sevier Co has had some problems defending the Wing T. Good luck to both teams. Go eagles! Red Rebels
Not much chatter for a rivalry game!
Fiftyishfootballmom
From a neutral prospective, this was a great game to watch. What a great defensive player in #66 Smith for Seymour. I question the coaching staff for Seymour attempting a field goal on 1st down in overtime - I think this decision backfired. Even though I predict some Sevier County fans questioning the officials, this was a well called game. Sevier County will have to work on those penalties........whew! GREAT GAME to watch!! Good luck to both teams in the future.
fsutandem
I watched the game afterwards on T.V. and I as well was one of the booing fans. But after watching I realized it was a well called game. Kudos Refs. And yes if Sevier County can not fix there penalties as they have failed to do all year. They lose to Morristown West next week. By more than expected. But if Sevier County plays a penalty free game and plays like they have shown signs of doing they could be very good. Especially the offense. Solo-mon 2
I can't question the holding calls or unsportsman like conduct calls. I think officials let TOO much language occur on the field anyway.....but I do question 1 call that was pivotal and a few NO CALLS. The late hit on the Seymour QB that kept their game tying field goal drive alive compared to NUMEROUS times I saw Zach Flynn release the ball and get hit late and no calls were made. I think b/c it happened in front of the Seymour bench is why it was called. If you let one team hit the QB, let both! Hats off to Seymour for staying in the game & coming back! Keagan Newport, GUTSY Game! Glad to see he was not hurt too bad! Wes White, Very Solid! #66 Nick, Very good DL prospect! Cody Watson, VERY Solid performance! Good Luck to the Eagles the rest of the way!
