Well when I played we had very good/athletic teams w/ great team speed and we played teams who had perfected the veer and it used to give us heck. I would rather defend a 1 back show anyday instead of the veer.....

OMG, I knew somebody would take that the wrong way; I am sure there are other backs on the team who can run the ball, but Holder is the 1 the gets it most of the time. Go ahead, read too much into this post as well. I would would still rather defend Huntington's offense over the veer. Holder 158 carries 1,437 yds 9.1yds./carry 21 TDs

Thompson 90 carries 747 yds 8.3 yds/carry 6 TDs

 

Both come out with 1st team.

 

Looks like the Mustangs are a 1 horse show to me. Yeah Right.

Holder is a very good back and thompson isnt shabby either, also their QB has some wheels
