Stewart Co. has had the experience the past two years as many of this years seniors have seen numerous playing time the past two years and none of them want this to end. They know the task at hand and also know Milan is a very very good football team. However, we will come out and give it our all regardless and do whatever it takes. We think our gameplan, if performed to perfection, can beat Milan. Any Given night right? SC will come out strong and wants that first career playoff win. Go Rebels!!

Yes sir....any given night. We look forward to meeting the Rebels for what I do believe is the first match up in schools history. We look for you guys to come out and play your hardest fought battle at Johnnie Hale Stadium.

Tired of all the last year Milan-Alcoa talk...it's over..but Alcoa did have to rely on 2 "trick plays" to score (halfback pass on 4th down and a reverse on a punt return where an obivious block in the back wasn't called) so to say Alcoa "dominated" is a stretch..Alcoa: enjoy your titles (and work with your O line on blocking Avery Williamson) but don't dog your victims...it could come back to haunt you. And since Alcoa accepts players from all over east Tennessee, if they pay tuition, should'nt they be considered financial aid D1 or DII just like the privates?

Alcoa is a open zone school legal by TSSAA. Alcoa has 500 students and is the second smallest school in 3A. If you would like Alcoa can take the multiplier like a private school......500 x 1.8 = 900. WHAT???!! Alcoa would still be a 3A school! :thumb:

Bulldogs need to find another excuse.........cause the F5 WILL dominate you worse this year! :thumb:

37% of Alcoa's football team lives outside of their dist. (that % came from Alcoa).. It's all been

said before, it's not an equal playing field, without the out of dist. players they would be like all

the other teams in TN, some good years and some just soso years, but frankly I'm tired of reading

about it. If and when they get beat it will be all the more enjoyable. And here's to, raise your

glasses please, hoping its this year.

Don't let the "little Alcoa, we just have 500 students" fool ya. Their fans like to say that alot.

Just think if you could hand pick 4 out 10 players from the school systems around your area.

Ever hear of an ALL STAR team?

.

When you take top notch coaches (Alcoa has a bunch of them) and their pick of the best players from a highly populated area.....it adds up to a dominant team that may just get beat this year by the Milan Bulldogs. Wouldn't that be sweet?

wrong............the 37% was fabricated by a Maryville fan needing an excuse.

Milan has 626 students. That's 82 more than Alcoa or 33.6% more. Alcoa has about 10-15 football players from outside the city limits on a 93 roster size. Alcoa's city limit population is only 6950.

Milan had as much talent as Alcoa last year. Milan has the talent to play with Alcoa this year. But, Alcoa will out play and out coach Milan again!

Find another excuse!
