This is going to be a great game. Polk and loudon have played against each other in lil league for a long time and both of these teams always play each other hard and it has great sportsmanship. I'm very excited bout this game and should be a hard fought game for both teams. Polk has to come out like they have all year and they should be fine but the Redskins are going to give them a fight. Both teams are hard hitting and both can move the ball well and both have very good defenses. Polk should win the fight in the trenches with the o line they have. Can't wait for next week to get here already. Lets get to the 3rd round Wildcats!!! Go Wildcats

I agree, these programs have always had great mutual respect for one another. This should be the closest 3A game of the week. Both teams are very physical. I would expect more field position play and punts. This one could come down to who has the ball last.

this should be one of those "edge-of-your-seat-thriller" kind of games! Looking forward to it...

Polk and Loudon have always played on a similar level and it's always a nail-biter. Good luck to both teams!! (but of course hoping the Redskins move on to #3 :D )

Thanks all u Alcoa & CAK fans for the votes of confidence! We started out rough around the edges, but thanks to great coaching and dedication from our boys we are a much improved fball team!

Go Big Red!

I was trying to remember...wasn't Polk's last preseason game against Loudon jamboree week? Anyone know?

they did have a scrimmage

The scrimmage was "game type", clock, refs, chains, for 2 quarters, 1's on 1's,,,

Score was Polk 14 - Loudon 14

Then the JV's finished up...

These teams also now have some common opponents, with very similar scores..

Should be a head knocker

    • Groves got the ball over 20+ times. His son arguably played the best for East in that game. 3rd and long multiple times and he came up big to continue a couple drives. Please shut up for the 3rd year in a row
    • And can you tell me who those two quarterbacks were, and every kid that was put into college from Bearden is a Bearden kid? It’s kind of why they graduated from Bearden.   and I would definitely not consider ETSU “waste”…
    • Most of this is complete gibberish. But the one part I could decipher is putting kids in college. This coaching staff hasn’t put a single Bearden kid in college. They completed wasted one of the best WRs in East TN and have ruined two talented QBs. All because they’re in over their heads.
    • Well, I’d hope the new coaching staff thinks they are all that because they can always walk around the school, anytime they want, thinking that, especially for what they’ve done for the student athletes and the players, putting more kids in college in his first season than the old coaching staff did in numerous years combined, but we will just sweep over that because I know you don’t like facts. But trust me, nobody wanted Mr. Big britches, made the star player switch to quarterback, which is ultimately the reason he ended up transferring to play the position. He loved, but unfortunately, had to be at another school because Mr. Big Britches doesn’t like when a teenager knows more than him, but can’t expect much coming from a guy who used all class throwing pencils up into the ceiling and making fun of football kids who were failing class right to their face, and in front of numerous students, even projecting on the board most of the time.
    • After that first paragraph, I can see why you’re a TA and not a teacher. Have you made the move from South Knoxville to Bearden yet?    Maybe he left because he is an actual teacher and coach, and didn’t want to be associated with a group of foul mouthed middle school coaches who like to pretend they’re big time.
