Scoot.... I'm going to have to correct you on a little something. If I'm not mistaken, the Tennessean had the "Hole" as the 2nd best place to watch a game in Md. Tn., not the 2nd hardest place to win. Regardless, I think everyone kinda gets the gist on what you are talking about. Well I see you, and a few others, made it out alive the other night. What about bigreid and termite? They didn't get caught up in the cross-fire, did they? :roflol:

So what was the trick play that you all scored on the other night? (I don't think you'll be disclosing any information)

As for the game this week.... I think if the Owls come to play, they should be preparing for round 3. I mean after all... Harpeth did get beat by Jo Byrns. There's no way the Owls could get beat by a team that lost to a..... how is it you guys say it when you're playing G'ville, or looking at our schedule ....... "smallball" team. :thumb: Best of luck Owls!!! :thumb:

Somebody give me an update on the Carter twins, please. I haven't heard anything in a while. Are they still starting? How's their play? Probably had to grow up pretty quick in the last few weeks, huh? I bet they are going to be some good ones before their time ends at SCHS.

Now 7 - can't be the BEST place to watch a game as much as it IRRITATES the opposing teams to play in The Hole - What is The Pitt known for? Hard to win there - same as The Hole. Of course we can add The Creekbank as it should be. Both Termite and Bigreid were "dusters" when the firecrackers started going off. The trick play was a throwback to QB for TD. Carter boys still learning and will be good players for the Owls for years to come. I won't mention your trip to Atlanta to see Tech play :thumb:

Aw shoot... that don't bother me none. Could have been a whole lot worse for sure! I think Tech had negative total yards. #45 said that was by far the best D1 team he's played against since he's been at Tech. You could really see the big difference in SEC and OVC - size and speed. It was still fun going into that type of environment. These schools (OVC) have to play these types of games for revenue purposes. They got nearly a million for their two games this year with UGA and Kansas State. Rumor is they may play either LSU or Miami next year!!!

Don't mean to get off topic Seven, but is #45 a family member of yours?

I was concerned at 1st Seven. But I think PC was too. When they got off the bus, SC was playing a little Country music for them and they did seem to take notice when the fireworks started. The one big bang ( the one that happens 15-20 seconds after the others) seemed to get their attention the most.

Gordonsville?? How'd they get in this??? "smallball"?? Shoot...........everybody knows playing RBS- Pickett Co.-Clay Co.-Jackson Co. ain't nothing but "BIG BOY BALL".

Carter twins.... They will play a lot of ball in the next 3 years. They did seem to play well against WH., but against smaller quicker LBs, and Linemen, ( CC-YAI) they struggle a little. I was concerned about their strength.I don't think strength gives them as much problems as quickness. I don't mean just speed, it's the quickness I think comes with experience. I hope they take what they learned this year and know what they need to get better at and go to work the off season. Footwork and strength.

Well Harpeth, welcome to "The Hole", rated by the TENNESSEAN as the 2nd hardest place to play for visiting teams, only behind "The Pit" in Lincoln County. It is called The Hole because it is literally in a hole. All roads lead down to get in and run up to get out. I guess I have to compare The Hole to PC's marching band - man it is lively and something going on at all times. You don't know where to look because you might miss something. Harpeth, if you look over your left shoulder, you will see two graveyards up on the hill, look over your right shoulder, you will see a large fire up on a hill- don't know which to tell you to avoid. Strange things happen in The Hole. Visitors come away amazed and enjoy talking about The Hole, i.e. Howdoitknow from Cheatham Co. Most of all though, you will be treated better than you have ever been treated. We will do all we can to accomodate you so you will enjoy your visit to Carthage. We want you to come back. As for the game, two good teams will meet in The Hole and may the best team win. Be safe on your trip to The Hole.

Them Harpeth Indians may fill the Hole up with arrowheads and tomahawks fri, night. They might use them Owls feathers for their war bonnets also.I just kidding should be a good game best of luck to both teams.

Once again I can,t wait for this game fri. night in the hole. I was very proud that the SC Owls got it back on track. I watched the Owl Pride play up to their capabilities agaisnt a very athletic team last fri. night. The boys came out with the some fire and spunk that they didn,t show the last few games. I was even inspired that the SC fans was up for this game. Let's all keep it going for the great match up this fri. night. Once again I'm pledging for all SC fans to get up off your rears and support our boys for 48 mins. and I know they will give it all they got. The senoirs really impressed me agaisnt PC , they stepped up and played the kind of football that they are capable of playing. Let's go BIG OWLS , and remember, lay it all out their on the field with everything you got and let it happen. Play the game you know and let loose. GO BIG OWLS !! and also LET'S GO FANS AND CHEERLEADERS!!
