High Scorers this Season

I read this topic in the Boy's Basketball category and found it interesting.

Who has been some of the high scorers this year and how many points have they scored?

Gibson Co.'s Heather Butler is averaging about 25 PPG thus far and has been sitting out the second halves of all 4 games due to them being blowouts. I'm not sure if all 4 of these are correct or not, but she had around 36 against Dresden, 28 against Henry Co., I'm not sure about the Humboldt game but it was around 25-30 points, and 26 against Trenton.

LOL, she's just an average player here in the state of Tennessee. That's sarcasm by the way! Mr. Bolus is definately a genious in his rankings!

Faith Williams of Gallatin High School dropped 29 last week against Rossview. She is a freak athlete, and if she could learn how to be a basketball player she would probably average 29 a night.

Chelsey Wiseman for Grundy County scored 29 against Smith Co. and she didn't play the 4th quarter.

Jasmine Newsome of Millington hit 42 against Briarcrest last Saturday.

Polk wing Alex Rogers and Silverdale freshman guard Mariah Massengale are averaging in the 20-25 range, probably near the top in the Chattanooga area.

If you check out the stat boards on the Tennessean website, you can find some of the high scorers. But, if your coach doesn't send in the stats they don't get posted so the info is limited.

The only thing I really dislike about the site at the Tennessean is that it looks like they have discontinued posting the assist and rebounding leaders and are only posting the leading scorers. As we all know basketball is not just about the points but the total package.

 

Listing scoring, assist and rebounding leaders for the whole state would be a great addition to the CoachT boards. It is a lot of info to process but could be offered as a part of Plus Member access or make it an Extended Plus option for an extra fee.
