Sure was nice this morning but got ugly by the afternoon. I got lost so far back in the woods that I did not know I was in TN or NC. I tried the GPS and got even more lost. It took me on dirt road goat trail and I started hearing bango music. I thought I was going to run up on some crack head cooking up Christmas dinner. I don't know still how I got out but I never saw the river again. I was never as glad to see paved rd. with stripes on it in my life.

i've been in similar predicaments.

oh, where some of our days take us!!

Antwan, you baited me in again. Bigreid said that he, reaction and few more were going to stop by and tailgate with us. Are you 1 of the other's Bigreid is referring to? If you are, it's good to see that atleast you hang around good folks. I noticed that you tend to get on threads and try to stir things up. Nothing wrong with that. Your take on the game seems to be straight off a Chattanooga website. "It helps knowing the team you play is primarily one-dimensional," Boyd-Buchanan coach Grant Reynolds said. "It helps direct your focus." So, you're not the go to guy for breaking news. Nothing wrong with that either. You talk about the team that beat Boyd, but don't mention the team that beat TC. By the way, they are playing for the State Championship Title this weekend in KY. You talk about their coach, bud don't mention TC's. TC's Coach went 15-0 last year and brought back a Gold Ball. This year he is 12-1 and playing for another Gold Ball. You talk about Boyd's schedule being tougher, Boyd's running back hasn't played in the 2nd half of 5 games because the score was out of hand and 1 of their wins was because some team forfeited the game. I love to hear the explaination on that one. I hope you get to come by Saturday and watch a great game. Neither team will be looking a head to next week. Nothing there. I hate we get on CoachT at different times of the day. You don't seem to be as bad as everyone thinks. Heck Antwan, I might even be able to get you a few friends on hear  But please don't use winning 2 out 3 in the playoffs again. Your team won their 1st two games then LOST their next game. Now, that sounds better.

The team forfeited the game b/c the school closed before the season started.

Does Boyd have trouble getting teams to play them? It seems every year TC has to travel further or go out of state like they did this year to fill the schedule.

The QB club and many more are following the bus up Sat. morning and we will tailgate when we get there.

I might have to stop by and see some people before the game then. If im welcome that is. B):lol::wacko:

I know after the 2003 season it was a nightmare. The coaches tried to fill this year spot from David Brainerd but with no luck. I hear that the coach even tried to get a 3 time state champs out of FL. but with no luck. One good thing we have here is we have a lot of big city and private schools like Red Bank that will play because they have a hard time too.

Yeah you have accused TC of cheating I personnally would like to know what game or games you are speaking of.

I don't think anyone wants to talk about that again...except slimjim. That is old news...a waste of time. Let's keep on this game.

Of all your posts I have read, I think this is the best one. I hope both you and all the TC fans can stop this useless bickering about cheating, SC won't play TC, etc. You're right; it's a waste of time. Let's get over it and move on.

    • Who’s going to lead the pirates offense this year?
    • Pickett is good, may have a Mr. Football like season if he’s used correctly. One of the best teams Marion has fielded in a while. I think they go 12-1 and loose to ER.  ER has better players at almost every position. If they play discipline this year, they win soundly. If they don’t though…Marion could sneak away with it.
    • I’m betting the house on the Indians. Pickett and Co will be the only team to challenge the Indians in the East. Huntingdon can in the West. I think Brooks goes 15-0 and has the first perfect season and state championship in ER history.
    • Sounds like a great opportunity has opened up for the football team.  With the head coach of the diamond rebels making it official and quitting this week, there should be some room for the gridiron guys to benefit. I assume the administration won’t continue paying six figures to two former coach that quit to continue teaching drivers Ed. Thats pretty good money that could be redirected toward the football program. Also, with the more recent policies of pushing kids to only play one sport, abolishing the baseball program altogether would help on Friday nights in the fall. There is some decent speed on that baseball team that should’ve been playing on Fridays IMO. I’m not sure if anybody would really miss that baseball program anyway with it being across town from the school. The liability of letting players actually use the facilities could also be mitigated with closing the program. That liability seems to be a really big issue for 825. Anyway, it seems like a great opportunity is available.
    • Yeah, I read about their spring blue/gray scrimmage after I typed that.   Sounds like a real mess over there.  I just hate that for 'em.  Haw
