Starz , after reading your Eye-tin-ere-rarie I must apologize to you and Momma Starz for being upset with you guys for petitioning the TSSAA to move the Championship games closer to Maryville for Hardship reasons . It was very selfish for me and a few thousand other Maryville fans to be so upset with you guys for all of us losing thousands of dollars each on our Murfreesboro Timeshares due to the real estate market being so awful right now ! I could only Imagine how Famished and delirious Momma must be after having to put herself through what basically sounds like torture to Momma .

To try to make it up to you and Momma , I'm gonna drive my big ol F-250 with the cool Brush guard on the front and see If I can collect a couple of BAMI's on the way down . I'll bring my Snow shovel down with me too , cause I know how much Momma likes A little fried Possum to go along with her Venison . I've heard the " Road Kill " at the Texas Roadhouse Is one of Mommas favorites . Make sure you got the Grill going !

It truly brings a Tear to my eye to see the sacrifices that True Maryville Rebel fans are willing to go through .

Try the Dipsy Doodle out Hwy. 70 for a great burger in Cookville. It's your typical hole in the wall, but their burgers are great. It's the kinda place where they know how to speak and spell the same way you do STARS!

Good Luck to all the young men participating in these games. I played in one about 15 years ago and I still remember it like it was yesterday.

Stars,

Although you know I'm a huge Governor fan, obviously my friendship with you--and with George--has to supercede my county allegiance so ... I've got the Blount Excavators over today flattening out the back yard so Ed Shore can come in and pour a big concrete slab for you to park Nellie on out back. I'll also have an electrical hook-up for you and of course, a sewer hook up leading straight over to Rod Shore's house. On the other side of Georges, you have Lissa and Lester Baldwins'. They've got a pool there for you and mama and the pups to swim in, but it might be a little cold. As far as directly next door--David Wallace's--we might have to just level his place completely to give you good line of sight to George's back yard. Hey, we got Grey Rider and 'Phillip and Vicky' there real close as well ... reckon they'll come over and visit with us for awhile?

    • I believe that was last year. I was interested in the Jones vs Baker comment, so I went back and looked at GC. I am not a fan of either nor am I a baseball guru. This looks like to me the duel was not close and if the errors would not have been made Eagleville would have won. I assume you are a little biased. I do think your mph for Jeffcoat and Baker must be from last year.  Baker-85 pitches 67 strikes. 5.2 innings, 5H, 1BB, 0ER and 7K's. 3 errors  Jones- 78 pitches 37 strikes. 4 innings, 2H, 5BB, 0ER and 1K. 1 error   Adams and the UH kid are really good as well. What about South Pitt and Oakdale? I heard they have some good ones.
    • I hate this for all the kids in the program and fans alike. I can't recall of anything like this before in my lifetime but I'm sure it isn't a first. After criminal investigations are complete and the TSSAA looks into this the program it will be facing Nuclear Winter for some time to come. It's always the innocent left behind that end up paying the price for something someone else has done. I'm sure the transfer portal will be very active in Clinton over the summer months. How could you find a good coach worth his salt that would take on a situation like this not knowing what will happen.
    • I’ve seen Jeffcoat in person twice and he was 84-87 both times and the one time I saw Baker he was low 80’s, he actually got out dueled by Jones from ER in that outing.
