Don't tell me no one has any thoughts or predictions on this game. Come on people. County rivals playing each other in a win or go home game. I will get the ball rolling and say Greenfield by 5. Trenton is going to be rocking and rolling in a sea of orange and black. Both towns will bring everyone to this game.

Congrats to Gleason on the win and to Greenfield on a fine season..Just another typical Gleason game..Going to be interesting between Humboldt and Gleason.Humboldt is going to want to run but Gleason isnt going to let them hopefully..If Gleason gets the lead and controls the tempo..could play in their favor but if King and Hubbard hit some three's and Gleason is going to have to come out because Hubbard and King both have some range..if they hit a few and get the lead and pull Gleason out of their zone..should be good for Humboldt..again..Congrats to Humboldt and Gleason..!

I believe the score was either Gleason winning 30-18 or 30-20...I believe Humboldt and Gleason will play Tuesday night for the championship.!

After watching that game, all the more reason in the world for a shot clock. Gleason had a good game plan and completely eliminated the top 2 scoring threats from Greenfield.

Agreed! That was the most exciting boring game I've watched in some time now besides that game the other night, lol. Frazier got in foul trouble in the second quarter and you really couldn't even tell much of a difference while she was on the bench. Gleason never got out of their gameplan. I still believe that Greenfield is a better team, but Gleason's slow game really makes a BIG difference and is to their benefit.

Greenfieldfan, I'm sure the outcome isn't what you wanted, however I want to say that Megan has been fun to watch play! She always got after it on defense in every game I saw her play in. She seems like a real good kid as well! I wish her luck in whatever she does!

I also want to say that Coach Trevathan seems like one of the most classiest coaches you could ever meet! After I left the game tonight, I listened to Paul Tinkle interview him. He gave credit to Gleason and wished them luck throughout the tournaments and never blamed anything on anyone or the refs. I never saw him argue with the refs despite some of the bad calls made in the game. He always kept his poise. He also went onto say that no matter the outcome of this season, he couldn't have been in a better position with the kids he had and the leadership they had as well. He seems like a great guy and is a great coach as well! Greenfield will be back again next year and will be strong again!

    • I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"
    • TSSAA will let them all go to Mase.
    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
