Coaching Positions

There's a lot of coaching postitons in Rutherford County coming open. Anybody heard anything about the two new middle school jobs or the Blackman High job? Who's applied?

Oh and what about the Central Magnet School won't they need boys and girls high school and boys and girls middle school coaches?

Knox, Memphis, Sullivan, Wartburg, Wilson, McMinn, Bolivar, Chattanooga all have Centrals. It helps when you clarify. Thanks

I really don't know about blackman, and the middle schools. I bet the transfers from all the old ele schools and central middle will fill those positions up. OR the county already has in mind who is going to be the coaches and is just not telling anybody...keeping everybody in stand still. they better get started though...they will need to get the ball rolling for their teams for next year in place to be able to be competive...especially for Blackman High.

I have heard they will be single A and would play in district 9 with Cascaade, Moore Co, MTCS,Eagleville, etc

technically the same as a high school coach. be a teacher

Virtually anyone who can pass a backgroud check can be a middle school coach. TO be a high school coach you have to have either 5 years of coaching assistance or be a teacher.
