milo118
A true test for the bulldogs. The Bruins are good from top to bottom again. Linebackers do it all for them. However, our defense is much better this year than last. I think that will be the difference this Friday. Bulldogs 28-14. I am a Bulldog fan what did you expect? lbhiii
As a Bruin faithful follower, I predict the following: 1. An awesome Bruin 12th man club tailgate before the game. 2. A really, really, really, tough football game. Smyrna is a whole lot better than the two previous years. 3. I'm not sure we learned much about the Bruins this past Friday night. Lavergne left Lavergne at home and brought Shirley instead to play Brentwood. Looking forward to an injury free good ballgame at Smyrna on Friday night! Go Bruins! workinprogress
If you look at the scrimmages both played Overton. While the starters were in in both games Overton beat Brentwood 14-7 or something close like that and they tied Smyrna 3-3. I suspect a good defensive battle here. Smyrna probably has the better players. Brentwood has the better coaching staff. I'll say this one is close from start to finish with Brentwood winning 14-10. Hoganknows
Two really good 6A programs...ought to be a great game
TDCman
This should be a great game between two outstanding teams. A whole lot on the line with the playoff seeding/tie-breakers placing all the emphasis on the number of wins. Really big game for week 1. Probably more important for Smyrna so I'll say Bulldogs 21, Bruins
nrgrizzlies
Between Brentwood's passing and Smyrna's running, I'll tell you who is going to win... I have no idea. But it will be a heck of a game. BHS kicker made one from 43 that would have been good from 53 the other night. Could be the difference maker?
