It sounds like Gordonsville just became the favorite to win the 1A state this season. South Pittsburg is a good team as I am sure Gordonsville is. Gordonsville is always a classy bunch and I pull for you guys throughout the season. I am sure we will see each other down the line again.

The Tennessean mentioned this game twice earlier in the week, and they didn't follow up postgame. I agree, pathetic. And, I've come to expect it from the Democrat. The best write ups will be in the Cookeville paper and the Carthage Courier.

Hey Grunt: You know exactly why no ink for Gville and TC - the schools are not located in Metro Nashville. The best two teams in their classification in TN and can't get any recogination. If either/both were in Nashville, the sports section would be full about each team. Now let it be MBA, BA, CPA and so on, you can't read enough about them.
