We can all poke and have fun on here with each other, but lets remember to let our boys do most of the talking on the field. That's all that really matters anyway. And at the end of the game, win or lose, look each other in the eye, shake hands and say, good game.

Have fun! It will be over before you know it and you will be like the rest of us who can't play anymore and just talk about how good we were, should have been, would'a, could'a or never really was.

I wish I could say I was looking forward to the Greendevils coming to town... but that would be a flat out lie. Maybe I'll feel a little different after seeing what the Vikings can really do. See you next week. :thumb: I would love to see Greeneville and DB play this year. That would be our local Maryville vs Alcoa type matchup! :popcorneater: But DB is to busy playing State powerhouses like Clinton and Seveir Co. :roflol:

The DB vs Greeneville scrimmage was worth the price of five regular games and it was free.I seen enough to know the boys in green are not playing around this year.If they can get number 3 into a good flow,he could take over a game by himself. He had a rough time holding on to the ball against South. He is a lot like our player Cannon.About 6'0 or 6'1' and can move. From what I read about him,he can bench 335 as well.In the mean time,TH and SH are both ranked in the state top 10.I don't know if anyone of our three teams are as good as that, but time will tell.Your game should be the best this week.I gave SH the edge on our local picks but on the Big Ones board, took TH to win.

Hey Cap!

What scares you the most about the Greene Devils???

The High Scoring Offense with the Qb Duo and All State Rb B.J. Spradlin? :thumb:

The Amzing Defense that you can't run against or barely pass on? And Don't forget All State Player Jamel Hall that will be in your backfield as much as your Qb!? :thumb:

Or Is it the Kicking Game that will have you starting on your own 20 everytime thanks to All State Kicker Ben Ogle??? :thumb:

    • Jason Lambert should be the only choice for the Baseball coaching position.
    • From the stats I found online it looks like Gabe Eddington- .484, 44 total hits, 43 runs scored and 42 stolen bases.Meanwhile, on the mound, the Austin Peay commit had a record of 8-2, while compiling 50 innings pitched with an ERA of 1.82. Carson Parrott - 7-0 overall as a starting pitcher with a 1.41 ERA, 95 strikeouts and a save in 53 and 1/3 innings pitched. Parrott hit .392 with 3 home runs, 21 RBIs with a .566 OBP and .716 SLG. Jaxon Walker - .454, 53 hits, 38 RBI’s, 9 HRs.   Not saying the other three aren’t deserving but Quillen had better BA than all three and was just as dominate pitching.  Like I said I don’t know how you leave off the 3a Baseball player of the year last year when he put up better numbers.  I know Greeneville’s Coach wasn’t happy about it saying “I don’t give a s*** what anybody else says. That kid is the best player in Tennessee, and everybody else on our team rises to his level“.  I’m sure winning another State Championship as a junior is more important to Carson than the individual award, it’s just a head scratcher to not be nominated
    • What coach in their right mind would want to come here and set theirself on fire to keep her warm.
    • Shoulder not going to the #### show .   Macon will name the score this year.
    • Plenty of time. The former coach was busy with family and disappeared all summer anyway. Obvious choice has the same family issues. First game is in March 2025.
