i think mtp will run the ball well against pc and when you start bringing guys up to try to slow them down they will burn you with a pass. great running game. mtp should be hungry for a win after 2 losses and i think will come out to prove that they are a really good team. they lost to a very good wc team and then to a good forrest team by 1 point without their qb, so i am picking mtp.

Yeah? But I've never understood while people thought it worked. . . A slow team can get caught out of position just as easy as a fast team.

Everyone is Mt. Pleasant got quiet after last week, They should still have something to look forward to this year. A strong finish is better than a quick beginning. The sad part about it is that there is still a chance for MTP to show some strength this year. Plus playoffs is where the magic needs to happen. I hope they can bounce back from this......

Just a little disheartening losing 2 games by only 4 points...... Went up against 2 of the top 5 QB's in the state (Rice/Carkuff) and fixing to face yet another one (Tucker)... Three top 5 Qb's in a row, whew, it's tough... No excuse making though. mTp is a really good team. They just need to get it together, don't worry about the losses, and bring it!

I thik that MtP is a good team and their QB is a good player, but its like someone on here said from MtP. He is a young QB and will make a few mistakes now and then. PC is just like WC so they should have the same type of play against MtP as WC did...MtP will run alot but I just don't see it being successful enough to out score PC. I pick PC in a close one.

I really wish the entire team of Mt. Pleasant thought like you, then there would be about 0 losses on the board. No excuses, then there is room for improvement when you forget about the mistakes. I want this to be the best game of the year in the region.

I like MTP in this one for a few reasons. first #1 is back and fresh. second the Colvett boys #69 and #65 were more upset after last week than Ive seen I expect multiple sacks from #69 and a TON of pancakes from both. MTp wins 31-22

I think PC has some defense that might give #1 something he hasnt seen. PC has no slow guys on defense they swarm the ball gang tackling. So I hope #1 is well rested because he will be running for his life every snap Friday night. Speaking of pancakes we like making a few of those too.

run some counters and misdirections, and that gives fast defenses trouble all day

      Watched Westview at McKenzie Thursday and they surprised me. Without Evans (who was sick) and Brent (who had thumb surgery shortly after getting back from her ankle injury), they looked solid. I didn’t realize Gray from SF had transferred in. You have Sims, Gray, Brent, Trevathan, and Evans and that’s a solid 5. Then, you bring in Hayden and Rogers off the bench along with some other upcoming and they will be tough again this year!

      Hmmmmmm doe dee doe doe……sounds like they are leaving Geenback faster than the lawnmower will go in fifth gear.  Hmmmm….. you can bet the lawnmower on that.

      When you have a school that right at 200 kids only half are going to be male and to get 25% of them to come out for football is a very hard task. Take away an 8th grade syatem and your you have another hill to climb up. If 5 kids are actually leaving your not going to have enough for practice. Your only chances for wins would be against the weakest of weak teams. At one time Greenback had kids coming across the wall like the Mexican Border and now their leaving town before sundown. A hugh mistake was made on not hiring Ryan back because of his ties to the community and his ability to bring in the right kids, not run them off. The last coach failed because he wasn't one of community so they go out and do it again. I'm sure Coach Clemmer is a good person because I do know people that do like him but he is caught in the middle of a fan base that will not support him no matter what and it could lead to a disaster if that many kids are leaving the program. The person that caused all of this mess has no business on the school board and needs to stick with hiding in the bushes giving out speeding tickets to out of towners coming through.
