Cap your sounding awful sensitive lately. I think you know what is going to happen at J Fred tonight and I give you props for standing up for your team. As for the DB SH game, Sh might get tired of scoring but if we can keep it close, just maybe they might get tired of getting popped in the face over and over again. SC has all the tools but instilling toughness and grit takes time. I guess we will know for sure in about 5-6 hours.

I hate to tell you this but NATURAL ABILITY and TALENT is something you’re born with. You know… quickness, speed, and agility. You can take all the time you want to instill all the toughness and grit you want… but it will rarely overcome a good gene pool.

I agree to a certain extent, but just because you are fast doesn't make you a good football player. If that was the case the NFL would be full of track athletes. There are a few that have made it but not very many. I think to be a good football player you have to have a certain mentality and not all good athletes are born with it.

That’s true… but “natural ability†includes but isn’t limited to just speed. Natural size, natural muscle mass, natural leaping ability, natural field awareness/vision, and the list could go on and on of things that can not be taught. This kid from Greeneville was real fast… but that was just a drop in a bucket of water in comparison to his gifts and abilities. There was a kid from Farragut (the FS I believe) that had (what I call) the juice, but that clown of a coach barely used him in the offense… what a shame. Your MLB from last year has “the juiceâ€. Curt Phillips has “the juiceâ€. Solomon (RB from SH a few years back) has “the juiceâ€, Chris Sensabaugh has “the juice†(I just think he’s better suited for CB or OLB at the next level).

 

On that note… I’m out of here!!! I wish you and yours safety to, from, and in the game. Good luck… you’re gonna need it. Same goes out to DB faithful… the whole thing.

It reminds me of the original "Juice" and back before the 1990's.He was the biggest name in sports besides Ali when I was a kid in the early seventies

41 - 0 at the half. DB had mercy and did not try to punch it in right before the half when they had the ball in the redzone and instead let the clock run out. Could have been 100 - 0 final. DB had second stringers in, in the 2nd quarter. Coach Clark did not want to hurt their feelings. Complete domination. DB won 41 14

Wow, can't wait to hear what Cap1 has to say about the performance of his mighty Vikings! I thought they would at least put up a fight and be somewhat competitive. Someone told me that the Tribe racked up approx 400 total yards at halftime. The Vikings had no answer to the Tribe's running game and looked to me like they laid down. ROLL TRIBE!! Redemption!
