QBClubPrez
By "Announcers" are you asking about radio broadcasters or public address announcers at the stadiums? If it's the latter...there are some REALLY BAD ones across the State...along with some excellent ones as well! THe bad ones out number the great ones 10 to 1!! biggreenmachine
My vote would be Rob Hosier at Gallatin. 30+ years as the PA announcer at the Waveyard. Class act, very knowledgeable, and he just has the voice. Too many PA guys now are these flashy, screaming maniacs that take away from the game and sound just plain ridiculous while their doing it.

Amen biggreenmachine!!!!! Even tho you seem to beat my Patriots every time you get the opportunity...I must agree with you here! Luckily, in Paris, we have a near 30 veteran as well with the distinct voice that seems to explain "only" what you "need" to know and not "play by play" from the press box! Nothing's worse than a "homer" on the microphone trying to rally the troops and pump up the crowd! That's not his job!!! Great post!!! SEC1rules
Jim Farmer at Henry Co. is excellent! I get chills when I hear his voice at the beginning of every season. He truly is "THE voice of the Patriots!"
