I dont know who the best is but I know we have a GREAT following to each of our games no matter where we are. last year when we went to marvyville we took over the restuaraunt as well so when we travel we usually eat. we do a lot of tailgating and chilli suppers for our other sports teams at home (this week is Softball chilli supper) but when we travel we do it well

I'll put the Brentwood Bruins up there with any of them. We are the tailgating kings of TN!

I agree with you...the Bruins do travel well for a Williamson/Davidson County team...much better than your "friends" at Brentwood Academy...given our past experience with both...and I do remember the tailgating on the Bruin campus. Likewise...tailgating in Paris is huge on gamedays....motorhomes..grills..tents..tons of people...and a variety of menus from ribs to gumbos!...I'll give you the nod as "tailgating kings of Middle TN"...but we will hold that crown on this side of the river at least til we meet up again on the field! One party in Paris is actually "hosted" by members of the Henry County Sheriff's Dept.! Parties on the practice field are often visited by our "out of town" guests!

P.S. Melrose throws the biggest/tastiest "pregame party" in the entire South!! no contest!

I was very impressed with the Riverdale crowd last year. I think they are still finding arrowheads in aubrey's resturant. :thumb:

I will match you there with Blackman High. Heck the band will fill up at least half of any visiting side bleachers, leaving little for the rest of us. At many away games Blackman fans wind up setting on the home side just to grab a seat.

Not complaining though, great atmosphere home or away! :popcorneater:

    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
