i just love how greenbrier people think they're good at everything. it just makes me laugh hahahahaha

When discussing our football season last night I was reminded by a transplant that not many one red-light towns can say they have no recruits, no big time transfers and a school of less than 1000 kids yet do have (2) volleyball, softball AND track state champions, much less a football team state appearance in the last TEN years like Greenbrier does so laugh all you want to. We may not be far from wrong. :thumb:

If WH can get the ball into McEwens hands they have a chance, without that WH doesnt stand a chance. I predict that he will get the ball or #21 or #22 will have a big game. It should be a good one since WH had a surprising win over Macon. I predict WH 24 Springfield 21. Good luck to both teams. (luckily Greenbrier doesnt have Westmoreland this week :D)

Ok so we over looked them because we actually are playing for a district championship o wait y'all arnt sorry, any team can lose on any Friday. And you watch and see when we make this game vs. Goodpasture a game and who knows, maybe shock the world I'm going to get on here and laugh at how stupid you truly are so you can talk about westmorland cause it hurts but if y'all make I pray that god puts y'all against us you hear that I want to play y'all again you know why? Cause when me and my boys go out there and take it to y'all like we did last time y'all can go and cry and make up more excuses like y'all did last time everybody in this message board will agree with me WH is the biggest cry babies in tn high school football so come on I dare y'all to come back to our place

Oh so since you were going for the district championship you lost to the worst team in the district? You make alot of since son. And if you think wh are "the biggest cry babies in tn high school football" i can't wait to see how you all sound when white house rolls right past you.

Championship caliber teams do not overlook any one , especially one that has not had a winning record in several years. Like 2005, WH might have lost the regular season game, but they will win when it counts. It seems like WH has won 28 of the last 30 games in this series. Shut-up and get back to practice.

So Greenbrier only has one red light in its town? I'm not from there but I have been there and I recall seeing more than one red light, and this thread is about football so minus the volley ball, softball, and track state championships, all you have is a football state appearance in the last ten years. Thats not a big deal because yall didn't win :thumb:

Yes. ONE red light. I don't know where you were, but it wasn't Greenbrier.

Good luck tonight to both teams.

    • I have no clue if Derek tried to talk some since into his dad or not about staying here. All he is going to accomplish is going from the oven to the frying pan. If I were the coach all Ale would freze over before I set back and watched one of my good players leave without a fight.
    • If this is true, South Gibson is taking a big chance. Passing on an experienced coach for a guy who has never coached at the high school level is a high risk move, especially in that district and region.
    • Dorian Eskridge was HVA's best back, 2011
    • Jo Byrns was a very solid team last year. Imo, I thought they presented the biggest challenge for us on our path to winning it all last year. I expect them to be in the conversation and one of the final few teams playing in Murfreesboro
    • I'm not sure you understand anything if you think DB's career and AD's career are comparable.  This is a terrible take.   Not to slight AD, He was a good player and he got better as he matured after high school.   But Desean had over 8,000 yards in HS and was a two-time Mr. Football.
