rlh
Unofficial* J. Washington - TCA (best player in this class...hands down) H. Whitmire - Signal Mountain (best player I've seen this year) J. Tucker - Perry Co. (because of his win over what many consider another worthy candidate) *No research was compiled while constructing this post. Official ballot, complete with lineman to follow... Whitmire is 2a unless the title was supposed to read Mr. Football in class 'A.' Edited October 26, 2010 by rlh
SEVEN
Whitmire is 2a unless the title was supposed to read Mr. Football in class 'A.' Yeah...I don't get it. The T$$AA waters down the playoffs by adding all of these classes for more state champions, but yet they reduce the number of Mr. Football winners. If it's like last year, only six nominations (3 back, 3 lineman) per regular season class. One Mr. Football kicker for the entire state. Maybe its the Titans, or whoever sponsers it now, and not the T$$AA...idk.

htown5
too bad there is not a category that gives interior linemen more of a chance. its hard to see a line backer as an interior lineman since their success depends a whole lot on how the interior men tie up the offence. just my opinion. calling a linebacker a lineman is sort of a gray area.
