Class 2A Mr. Football Official Ballot

Now is your one and only chance to convince me, and several other voters who will be reading this, who the Mr. Football Lineman, Back, and Kicker should be:

 

For the fourth consecutive year, the Tennessee Titans Mr. Football Awards are being underwritten by a generous grant from the Tennessee Titans Foundation. The TSSAA is very appreciative of the generosity of team owner Bud Adams for his financial support of these awards and to the Titans organization for its wide-ranging support of student-athletes across our state.

 

Thirty-three finalists will again be honored at this year’s awards luncheon. This group is to include three finalists for Mr. Football Lineman of the Year and three finalists for Mr. Football Back of the Year in each classification (Class A, AA, and AAA in Division I and Class A and AA in Division II). There will be three finalists, regardless of classification, for the Mr. Football Kicker of the Year award. They are to be selected via a vote of football coaches and selected members of the media. The winners of the coveted award are to receive the distinguished Mr. Football trophy with the other finalists being presented plaques.

 

These outstanding individuals and their schools are to be recognized along with their parents and coaches at the prestigious Tennessee Titans Mr. Football Luncheon, scheduled Monday, November 29 at the Embassy Suites Hotel and Convention Center in Murfreesboro.

 

Each of the designated media outlets, of which you are one, is asked to submit the name of up to three players in each classification for the Mr. Football Lineman of the Year Award and the Mr. Football Back of the Year Award. You are also asked to submit three players, regardless of classification, for the Mr. Football Kicker of the Year award. It is not necessary to vote for three players in each category, but that is your option. If you feel an individual player is one of the top three players in both categories, then you may list him in both.

 

In order for your ballot to be counted, it must be received in our office via mail or fax

I must return the ballot by November 1st.

CoachT I say Willy Carmichael from Greeneville he has over 1300 rushing yards and averages 15 yards a carry. He has had numerous games over 300 yards on the ground...He had 343 on 15 carrires 2 weeks ago..He has about 2000-2100 all purpose yards...He is a News Channel 11 player of the week, News Channel 5 player of the week and is the rushing leader in the BRAC.

Hunter has been double and triple covered all season, but still has been an effective and dominating receiver. Not only does he catch the ball well, he is the team's best blocker reciever on the edge. He is a game changer on offense, defense, and special teams. Anyone that has seen him play this year, knows how special he is.

 

But the best thing about him is his off the field attitude. Hunter is a great influence in the classroom. He is set to graduate with honors while taking an AP course load. He is highly respected amongst his peers, teachers, and coaches. Talking to him, you would know never know how special an athlete he is. I know he represents everything this award stands for. Coach T I would appreciate it if you passed this info on to other voters as well. Thanks.

I agree william carmichael from g ville and he is a prep xtra player of week last week he had 2 carries for 137 yards and 2 touch downs

Jordan Murphy OL/DL Camden. Dominant all year. Chop blocked every game, all game, but still in backfield during 80% of defensive plays. Don't know his exact stats, but they are very impressive.

Almost forgot:

 

Kicker: All State Player Ben Ogle: I don't know all of his stats but he kicks in the inzone almost everytime and has only missed a few PAT's because of bad snaps. last year he was 70 of 72 and this year he is about the same ecept way more attempts

 

And I can't remember if its Rollins or Hall thats the All State Player But both are having Record Breaking years. Can a another devil fan help me out here? Anyone have Stats?

WILLY CARMICHAEL - I watched him rush for over 340 yds in 2 quarters...fun to watch. He likes to make the secondary think they have a chance to catch him and just as they start to close, he just fires the jets, pulls away and sorta jogs to the end-zone.
