Who's the New Coach at Ravenwood

I talked to Parks at the Pearl Cohn vs. Smith County game last week. He applied for Summit as well. That would be a great fit for him. He was under Bubba Spears for 2 years at East lit and felt he knew how to build a program after that. Jerry Pigue was also on staff and he started Hunters Lane football. He has learned qualities from exceptional coaches. As of right now he seems content at Cane Ridge. It seems he has a entourage wherever he goes.

 

Kirk Embry was also a manager at MTSU when Parks played there. I have a feeling Embry and Parks will be coaching together somewhere very soon.

I maybe completely wrong but I thought Coach Embry was the DL coach and RBs for Smyrna High School. He has developed one of the best DL in the state in Dominique Glenn. Also the job he did with J. Bryson is amazing! Bryson did not even play RB till his sophomore year. I'm pretty sure he got his start at MTSU as a GA coaching RBs as well. Either way if I’m Ravenwood, I would hire him.

Jeremiah started rb as a freshman. Kirk Embry is the QBs coach at smyrna and he is not leaving. He is the head coach in waiting. The coach there has promised him the job. (he just better hope that the current coach doesn't pull a paterno on him) so Embry is out. Lets talk about who is applying.

Coach Embry is one of the Freshmen Coaches at SHS. I don't know what positions he is responsible for, though. Bryson has been a RB forever. He was the MVP of the state championship game as a Freshmen. Not sure who coaches RB's, but I think he came from Portland. Also, Coach Childs is the QB coach. I do agree he has done an outstanding job with Wilson.

I do know that Coach Embry is family friends with Coach Crawford at Brentwood so that won't hurt if he is a serious candidate. Coach Crawford's endorsment would go a long way in that county.

That would help if you know Coach Crawford. All I know is that he is at Smyrna and was an Asst. @ MTSU. How old is he?

Wow he's older than what I thought. I heard if he gets it he's bringing Matt Eads from Riverdale, Justin Morton from Smyrna, and a young coach Ryan Knox.

I also heard another coach from Smyrna has thrown his hat in the Ring David Vasor. He is the D tackles coach at Smyrna great coach. I really hope he gets it!
