If you are not Coach Eubanks then please quit denying you are not him. The only reason I keep posting is because you keep denying you are him.You say you are not responding anymore to my posts but you can not help but keep replying. There is no way anybody could know so much about what is going on the inside if they were not on the inside.I will make a promise that I will not comment anymore if you will never mention Coach Eubanks again.

A poster by the name of powercat and a few other keep bringing a certain coach up, not me. Doh

just in , heard from my bookie odds Eubanks = Taco are now 2/1 so place your bets ( sorry jason )

only parent i recall reference INDY kid not playing was the dad of qb smith ( whom was benched during memphis east game ) and bashed heckman from there in / out

You think the only place a kid didnt get enough playing time to satifisfy dad was independence? If all the other schools could be so lucky.

Hello to all the CoachT readers: I have been in Williamson County for 14 years this June when I began as the Coach at Brentwood back in 1997. I have also been at Ravenwood and Page as Coach; I am now the Athletic Director for the Williamson County Schools working out of the central office. As I read over some of the topics and comments that are made about the different schools and coaches in our county I decided to make myself available to the CoachT public for questions; now I know that some questions I will not be able to answer but the ones I do I will keep everyone in facts not rumors.

Thanks

jackd

1. Why did Smith leave? (more than "personal reasons")

2. When will new RHS coach be named?

3. How many have interviewed for it?

4. Who are the leading candidates?

5. Predictions for Centennial's upcoming season?

First of all, thanks coach for making yourself available on coach T. Since you are the athletic director for Williamson county I think you would be the right person to answer this question. How can an athletic director at one high school also be a football coach at a different high school when these two schools are on each others football schedules?

Even if it is possible according to rules or regulations, does it seem right? Has this ever been done before?

Thanks

Point well taken. Let's see what the replies are like. The replies will legitimize the author for me.

The fact that JD would come out in the open is just his style anyway. He won't hide behind a fictitious username like most of us.

While we wait for a response, feel free to weigh in on any of the previous questions.

Would be nice if it was home, maybe a few can call wilco office and ask JD himself

    • They’ve both gotten worse. I’ve seen enough games to know that.
    • The only two transfers that Bearden has gotten that went on to play college football were a defensive back from Karnes, who transferred here way before the new coaching staff got here, and a running back from Carter, who went on to play at Maryville College. Both players received those offers while at Bearden, and both players got a diploma from Bearden High School. Therefore, they are Bearden kids, and you can’t do anything about that.   The transfer from Seymour didn’t win the job, what do you expect two quarterbacks to start at the same time? He played great on JV when he could stay healthy, and when he came in on varsity, he did great. The quarterback position is definitely going to be in good hands when the current starting quarterback leaves, but until then, they’re just going to be battling it out like every good quarterback competition does. The current starting quarterback has his flaws, and that is in the pass game, but what he doesn’t have flaws is running and scrambling, and if you go back and watch any game, which I’m sure you didn’t watch any, we used him very often, and when we needed a deep ball, we brought in the transfer from Seymour. The starting quarterback last year will be a senior this year, and the Seymour transfer will be a junior, so the Seymour transfer is definitely going to get his spotlight. He may even win the job this year. Football isn’t about who the newspaper thinks is the best kid. The best kid in the position will win the starting job, and I trust the coaching staff more than a newspaper or article to pick my starting QB.
    • I mean, we’ve only gotten two transfers that went on to play college football, one who went to UT Martin came his second semester junior year before the new coaching staff was here, and the other one went on to play at Maryville College, in which I don’t believe he had any interest prior to transferring.
    • An FYI: To see how an opponent has done against another opponent since 2001- go to the game by clicking on one of the teams. Click the G beside the game. For example, Milan: The info will show you the previous matchups and other info.
    • All these college signees went yo other schools for 3 years, were getting college offers then transferred to Bearden. It’s not like this staff did much to develop them.    The BBall coaches son and the Seymour transfer were some of the most talented QBs in the region, and you guys developed them into QBs who might complete one pass a game.
