Penalize the kids for having swagger.... Shame on the TSSAA! They're the real criminals in this!

"Swagger"?.....are you kidding?....did you actually watch this abomination? Hits on unprotected players...ie the kicking unit, isn't swagger. It is an ambush. And the officials just assessed the penalties on the ensuing kickoff which, given that Ogle was finding the endzone on every kick anyway, meant nothing. The control exercised by the officials and Trezevant coaches and administrators was criminal and I honestly believe the officiating crew should have to bear some responsibility as well. Those boys behavior was symptomatic of serious problem existing within the leadership of that athletic program and anything less than the punishment handed down would have been useless. That being said, the game officials had every opportunity to eliminate the offenders very early in this game and failed.

Oh now you're gonna make this a thing about race.... Don't go there with me buddy! I'm proud of my ancestors and the struggles they went though!

Don't have to be about race CB10...you just got back from a CoachT initiated vacation from the boards so we know you share some disregard for the rules...kinda like them boys from Trezevant.

Well I don't think race had anything to do with the way Trezevant played. It was clearly a lack of discipline that started with the coaching staff. It was a shame and a sad end to a good year for the Trezevant team.

I think to say they came out with "swagger " is a stretch on your part. You want to see a good example of "swagger" then watch the Steelers on most Sundays. Now that's "swagger" at its best. Not dirty but in your face football.

    • We could sure use some math teachers country wide. Ever go into a store or restaurant and the bill comes to $9.97 and you give them a ten dollar bill and 2 pennies because you wanted a nickle back and then the meltdown starts and the next thing two more people have to come and help figure it out and the place comes to a complete halt. I see this everyday and it's a sad representation of all these schools allowing these kids out the door to get shortchanged the rest of their life.
    • I like the Pirates chances. I’ll be there as soon as work allows.
    • Stars, I heard we were searching far and wide for some math teachers. Any chance their kids bench press or 40 times are getting checked? LOL I’ve heard good things from 825.
    • I think it was expected. “Bad” luck I guess to get a couple difference maker QBs in the same class. I thought the decision was made a little early myself, but they were struggling offensively last year.  I assume the running quarterback alco had last year would be a senior this fall, and the transfer would start the following two years in addition to getting a ton of playing time this year. Maybe he waits two yrs, but I doubt it. The kid is good. So is the one who stayed.
    • I'm from Cloudland and we've never played a sectional game.  We need to win tomorrow night to avoid that bus ride.  Us and north greene can play with you guys so I'm expecting good games whoever the matchup is.
