Region 7-A Tournament

Figured we might as well get this one started. On Friday you got #4 Clarcksburg at #1 Lake County, #3 Greenfield at #2 Bruceton, #3 West Carroll at #2 Humboldt and #4 Union City at #1 Dresden. Will there be a 14-A sweep in the first round or will a 13-A team get a win? Semifinals on Monday with Greenfield/Bruceton winner playing the Lake Co./Clarksburg winner and the West Carroll/Humboldt winner playing the Union City/Dresden winner. Thoughts on how you see this one playing out.

Lake Co, Humbolt, and Greenfield all win in the opening round. UC and Dresden game will be interesting. As bad as it pains me I got to pull for Union City so the region tournament can be played in Tiptonville.

I agree with all of your picks. And, you're right, the UC vs. Dresden game could be very interesting. I still think that UC will win it...especially if everyone gets healthy before the game.

 

Also, I believe yall might be wrong about what happens when one district sweeps another district. I was told that the Regional Tourney goes to sight of the District Tourney...which would be Trenton.

 

Anyone know for sure?

Im not saying that Bruceton will win but, I can tell you that they have a couple of players that can light up the scoreboard by the name of Williams and Jordan if they get hot watch out.

Was told by LC coaches that if a sweep occurs the winner of the district tournament will host. The local paper also reported the same thing.

Congrats to Bruceton on the win....numbers 33 and 21 hit a lot of shots tonight....#33 just couldnt miss in the second half...he was hitting everything he threw towards the goal.

 

Congrats to the Jackets on a good season...I hate that ended tonight on a last second shot by Bruceton.

 

 

UC beat Dresden by 13 or so tonight...cant remember the final score.

 

 

What about Humboldt and Lake Co.?
