Good luck to FCS. I hope that you represent Region 4A like you guys are capable of. CSAS may be better, but anything can happen on any given night.

Thanks Boarhog.......Hope Clay Co is red hot tonight and sends Lookout Valley back up I24 with their feelings hurt!

And you are correct, we will be underdogs tonight and the odds are stacked against us but stranger things have happened. I hope Chatt A&S is over confident being ranked #1 in Class A and playing on their home court. By the way we have chartered a STUDENT bus so our students can be there with us.

The student bus will be a huge help. I had a great time watching the CC and FC students at the Reg Game. School Spirt has become a thing of the past GLAD to see some teams bring it back.

I would love to see FCS come out of CSAS with a victory, but in all honestly I just don't see it happening. The teams in this area are nowhere as strong as they were just 7 or 8 years ago. FCS is a good team, but having to travel to CSAS against the #1 team in the state, the odds just doesn't favor FCS in this one. However, good luck and I hope i'm proven wrong tonight!

CSAS is not the #1 team in the state

It's almost game time! I think they ARE the #1 single A team in the state and it's now time to go prove it. I think this will be a hard fought game but I think CSAS pulls this one out by 10. Expierience, too deep and too many weapons. Good luck CSAS!

Congrats to CSAS on the victory and congrats to FCS on a great season and a strong showing of fan support at the game tonight.

CSAS, I think, is ranked #1 on Coach T's rankings, but I think Clarksville Academy is #1 in the State based on the writer's poll which is the one that matters.

Clarksville Academy got upset tonight. I said earlier this season that CSAS would not have a district, region or sectional game closer than 20 points this season. They have a good shot to win it all.

When CSAS is focused on DEFENSE (which it has been almost every game this year) they are tough to beat. They were focused for the second half.....imagine if it had been four quarters!?! Something for them to continue to work on and get better before next week!

    • My opinion the 8 teams will be-  Greenback, Wartburg, Gordonsville, Jo Byrns, Eagleville, Bruceton, Dresden, and South Fulton. Gordonsviile is probably the favorite but I wont say it will be an easy road. With the right draw any of the 8 could win it.
    • I understand Gibson Co. will be announced tomorrow with a familiar name. Not sure about So. Gibson.
    • A huge addition to the staff today! Former Hardin Valley legend and Richmond College running back Aaron Dykes was announced as the running backs coach. Rushed for over 3,000 yards at HVA, with 35 total touchdowns. I loved watching in Hardin Valley. I can’t believe he’s at Bearden now. I know he was trying to get a HVA job, I don’t know what happened there and how he ended up at Bearden, but I'm glad he’s here and believe he will be teaching art class as well! What a good get for the staff!!
    • Thoughts? Gordonsville won it last year with a sophomore pitcher and returned almost everybody. Can anyone beat them?
    • I was kind of surprised to read this. I thought the general concision was most programs are going back to natural grass. Personally, I have never liked turf. I see the arguments on both side for or against it. I just never liked them. Also, I did not know there as an impaction test that these fields had to pass. Good stuff OP
