This game much closer than the final score indicates. Score was 31-28 Blackman early in the 3rd. Signal Mountain has a great team and has a great chance of winning 4A title. Their offense is really good and their quarterback is really good. He did throw 3 interceptions all late in the game when he was in desperation mode. This caused the score to balloon up bigger for Blackman. Nobody punted all night. SM was successful on a fake punt. SM could not stop Blackman's running game and in particular the I-Train. Haven't heard official stats at the moment but I'm hearing over 300 yards rushing. Without Mathers, this game would have been a nailbiter with SM having a good chance to pull it out. SM has a very good team. Good luck the rest of the way.

Seconded. Blackman isn't even the best team in that district this year, and they wholluped the power that is Signal Mountain.
