Here's what the Tennessean had to say about this game.

GORDONSVILLE (5-2, 4-1) AT WATERTOWN (6-1, 4-1): Gordonsville’s Payton Watson has been a dual threat, throwing for 870 yards and rushing for 582 with 15 total TDs. Watertown looks to stop Gordonsville’s four-game win streak after losing its first game last week in this Region 4-A matchup. Gordonsville 28, Watertown 20.

You all need to get a room.

I wonder where BigJazzy is at.

He might could add a little insight on this game.

I agree, he/she just dissappeared when it was time for the FCS game. When the Jackson County game rolls around he may reappear.

Here is an interesting thought. Watertown is 6-1 with Gville, TC, and JC as their next 3 games. Unless something major happens Watertown will probably be 6-3 heading into the game with Jackson County. Jackson County is 3-4 with RBS, Pickett County, and Watertown left. Unless Jackson County takes RBS for granted, which I don't think will happen, JC should be 5-4 heading into the game with Watertown. So in week 10 we'll have JC 5-4 against Watertown 6-3. If JC beats Watertown then JC is 6-4 along with Watertown at 6-4. Tied record, wouldn't the tie breaker be the head to head game? Now the chances are good that both will have the records I said heading into the JC/Watertown game, so wouldn't that game be basically winner gets a playoff birth?

They are both getting in. 5 wins will get anyone in this year.

You are right, RBS's football team is not good enough for me to speculate... :roflol:

Now you got it! lol just throwing a little gas on the fire...it is obvious the other Wtown ppl are few and far...sad..I can admire your stick-to-it-ive-ness regardless...right?

Read where the BigJazzy was taking a break, impecable timing...

Hope both teams stay safe, have always thought Gville-WHS was a throw out the numbers game...but didn't really like the way WHS didn't show up at FC...can only hope they'll be ready for this one! Good luck to all, including Red Boiling!

    • Dyersburg is going to be good, really good. As mentioned, they have a lot of talent on the way and the trio of Chelby, Joya, and KayKay will only be better with a full season together under their belt. To me, playing in Murfreesboro two consecutive postseasons will only serve to make them more dangerous if/when they stand among the final eight teams this March. Experience, good or bad, always makes you better. And not only do they have experience, they know how to win there. Schedules are coming together for all of the teams and I am excited about what I am seeing on the preliminary drafts on Dyersburg’s schedule. I know I am being a tease, but it’s simply not my place to announce what another school is doing. With that said, I won’t go into specifics. However, I am excited about renewed home and away contracts for the non-district portion of the calendar. I think west Tennessee will have a lot of interest as well.
    • What does everyone have in the final 8? In no particular order. 1. Eagleville 2. Gordonsville 3. Greenback 4. Oakdale 5. South Pitt/ East Robertson-- not sure 6. Richland 7. Halls 8. Union City
    • They struggled to field a team last year. I don’t see them being much better?
    • sx good two know thay didun't waint that entarr citty two see yeller/red......
    • Couldn’t agree more.. Tate is a special kinda player , but fortunately for us we get a best of 3 series. I think our pitching is better than last year when we made the trip to west tn. Should be a fun 2 or 3 games.
