so what was it when WC went 3 and out in the fourth qtr by trying to pass the ball. Guess that was just a brain fart on Coach Rice's part since they were trying to run the clock out huh? In no way am I agreeing with Guru, just wondering what that was all about.

They were trying to get their defense some more practice.

joe byrns has absolutly shut down any offense that PC has had for two years running. if they shut it down last year, they can do the same this year. i see no reason to think that PC has found any defense this week other than blitz random gaps and hope for the best. JB wins this by at least 21... deja vu for PC and i really hate that for Tucker... may cost him mr. football.

I don't see any way that JB wins by 21. If JB comes to play they MAY keep it close and give themselves a chance to win. Anything less than 100% from JB and this one could get ugly. If JB wins I don't see them winning by more than TD.

We just don't have the horses to beat them by 21 points.Like you, I see us barely pulling it out if we give 100% and play mistake free football.

All I can say is keep the pressure on Tucker and try and make him do it by himself. Last week I think he had 69 yards at halftime then in the 2nd half he tried to put it all on his own shoulders and came up short. When pressured he is going to run and you got to have somebody waiting on that every play. If JB pounds the football and keeps Tucker contained they got a chance, if not PC will put up big numbers. Tucker is a great athlete but this offense isnt what it was a year ago, losing Mercer left a big hole in their offense. Last year when Tucker was pressured he would just dump it off to Mercer and this year he dont have that option. I think both teams will come out with something to prove and will be a great game, good luck to both teams.

last year, it was a game and both athletes put on a show... this year he was completly shut down... if coaches have not already voted for him (i know some have) that may have changed some minds; especially if it happens this week as well.

I will say if the JB team that played heritage shows up I like our chances, The Red Devils have certainly had plenty of ups and downs this year but have managed to play great at times and not so great at other. This game will be the last for one of the squads, Devils uve got to play your best game of the year ! By the way Tucker still gets my vote for mr football win or lose !

I don't think JB has the power runners this year to walk away with a win. I honestly don't think it will be close.

Guru as long as the Devils play hard and leave it all on the field that's all I wish for, if so they will continue to be winners in life, if you quit on the FB field you will quit in life, good luck to all that strap it up on Friday nights, those days will be with you forever

You may be right Guru with #1 out and his back up quiting earlier in the yr,,,,it's really 3rd string RB but kinda like PC JB does have a awsome QB that can throw and scramble and run,,,and i also beleave PC ground game to not be as good this yr,,,but in 3 days 5 hrs and 3 min we gonna find out :hungry: i also think PC gonna come in the dungeon with what has happen to them the last few yrs and the dungeon is a rowdy place come playoffs

He needs to be back home in the Purple & Gold, regardless of if he is HC or not or even if he doesnt coach at all, his presences will improve the environment. But Again, I have no clue if he would even be interested.
