It's too late tonight, but stay tuned......we'll begin your lesson with this most recent and most disappointing loss to Sevier Co. We can go play by play if you like....I got from now til baseball starts to explain this. You really want a coaching change??? Seriously? Who you gonna hire? Like I said, just got back from Knoxville, that place is proof that you better have a plan in place before you start wishing for things that you really don't want to happen!

Heard a very sad story from a WW2 vet last week.He and his best friend parachuted into the worst of places.The Germans had already seen and shot the biggest part of their outfit as they came down.The rest were captured including this hero and his best friend.The Germans throwed them into a truck and took all their valuables.He found a way to hide his class ring while they were taking everything.When they took his buddies dog tags,they seen he was of Jewish faith.The rest is way to much about his friend.The camp for those that were still alive was hades on earth every day.He later traded that class ring to a German for some bread to save a few of their lives and make it until they were rescued.It's men like that who gave everything so that we can get on here and talk about high school football and do all the things we take for granted.My step dad was in during the tet offensive and was nominated for the bronze star.I only played war games for a second and never used it for a job as to honor those that really gave so much.Thank you for your service to our country.I think I read somewhere that you had been in law enforcement{I might be wrong},One of my sons is in law enforcement and for what they and our teachers do for all of us,it's a disgrace as to the amount of money they are paid.

You need to know the defination of a band wagon fan. Look it up. I have never stoped supporting the team when they were down. Im not a fan of any other high school team. When DB gets knocked out of the playoffs I don't automatically become a Greenville fan. Its DB or nothing with me. But what I will do is if I see something that I think is hurting the program I will point it out. A few years ago when our team wasn't giving it 100% in the weight room and our offensive line was getting pushed all over the field I called them out on it. They didn't like it and a few fans called me a bandwagon fan then. Just one odd thing, the coaches were telling the players the same thing. Go figure. Anyway, the team started working harder and some of the slackers moved on and now we have one of the best offensive lines we ever had. Theres a few people that don't agree with me but thats ok because Im right and 90% of DB fans know im right. Its a no brainer. You can't compair our situation with any college team. They don't have a playoff. So when you get sobered up you can start your explanation of how none of this is the coaches fault. I have a feeling it's going to take until baseball season.

 

ps: you should try to shake that Greenville Boy off your coat tail.....thats not very attractive.

Well coachmo, it is very easy to see that you fell off of a turnip truck. Should have got that checked. It's apparent there was and still remains a hint of brain damage. Anyways, it's not important to know where I received my masters. I'll just have you know that I did graduate with honors. But hey, you probably won't believe that. I do however get the satisfaction of knowing that by posting I have really gotten underneath your skin. You are really taking this personal. Takes a big man to put someone down over the Internet. Maybe if got yourself a little Viagra you would have more time for others things rather than picking fights on Coacht. Just kidding. I am sure you will reply to this and are on a frantic search for who I am. Good luck. Really, this is my last post. Not because I am wishing up but because I have other kids who aren't retired that I have to argue with on Monday. Just know this, while you are reading this furiously and thinking of a reply, I am sitting at home getting a kick out of this. (:

Good to see this is your last post....AGAIN! And your a school teacher? Really? Also, every poster on CoachT has a masters degree and we all graduated with honors. Nice how you putt coachmo down in all your post and then say it takes a big man to put someone down over the internet. Just what is it that you teach?

DB has and always will be a State Title Contender.... it's the word CHAMPION that they year after year fall short of!! So get you a few tissues and eat your crow like the rest of us. The Tribe will without a doubt live to fight another day!!! You guys had a great season this year but I have a feeling.... the best is yet to come. I hate that we didn't get to see the Tribe take on the Great Wall of Blount County but it's probably for the best this year.

 

 

I think the problem is that alot of these teams from the kingsport area arent really as good as people make them out to be and you can see that by the results from the playoffs this anr yr and previous years. Competition in the kingsport area just isnt as good as the knoxville/ blount co area type teams. DB is made out to be such a great team every year but they always loose to our knoxville schools and not even the best ones. I wouldnt even consider DB as a top 8 team if they were based out of the knoxville area. Im sry , im sure alot of you DB fans dont wana hear it but the knoxville/ blount co football is a whole diff level of football and sevier co did you guys a favor bc you guys really didnt wont any part of maryville , there just on a whole different level of football than you guys

I think your on the wrong thread. But while your here, why would Greenville step up to 5A or 6A. Their a 4A school. But if they did they could win it all in 5A as well and don't look to me like anybody else in the state can beat Maryville and Riverdale either. Now back to our regularly scheduled program.

Other than Maryville what Knoxville area team is it that DB can't beat? And Im talking about the regular season as we all know we couldn't beat Jerrys kids in the playoffs. We have beat about every 5A and 6A team in the Knoxville area and done so with consistency. Don't say its talent. We have had a bunch of players go on to play on Saturdays and probably had more players on NFL teams than any school in Knoxville. Our problem is we can't win in the playoffs because out coach has brain freeze. Sorry but your wrong.
