Moronicus
Moronicus, No one else seemed to have missed my point. But, the point is this: Henry County does not have one go to guy on offense. If any of the four mentioned was the one go to guy, he would have astounding numbers. Rather, Henry County has several outstanding backs who share responsibility in carrying the ball, thereby diluting any individual back's statistics. Whether I mean percent of plays or percent of carries has no impact as it "obtains" to my point. You are not very interesting, and clearly either an adolescent or insecure or both. Whether or not you consider me interesting is, again, another irrelevancy. But your claim appears to be belied by the fact that you are so easily baited. MrHenryCounty
Since MOBLEY is the "best" running back in the state then how come he didn't get a vote in the Mr Football award? Well??? Also if I am correct I thought that Kimbrow from Memphis East was the number one recruit in Tennessee...and he is going to Vanderbilt. And to your point, it happens that Darian Logan, Monterrio Washington, and, not least of course, Dustin McPhetridge share a tad of the responsibility for PAL. FactsOnly
Actually, I'm not. As I used it, the proper usage is akin "to follow as a result." at least according to thesaurus.kids.net

The Pats by double digits. Last wk i said west would kill powell, well i was wrong. Powell proved alot to me last friday night and im telling you henry co fans now , this powell team is out to prove something and there hungry for a state title. Show them that football is best in East Tn as always has been. Get em powell. powell by 2tds
FootballDad
Reading on this thread about HC coming to support Milan reminded me to send out a call to all my Powell friends. All of us at CAK would love to have the Panther Nation get to Cookeville early enough to help make a little noise for my Warriors. I know many of us are planning on staying around to pull for the Panthers after our game. I know many of you Powell parents personally and I know one things for sure, you know how to make a lot of noise, ha, Go Panthers and Go Warriors!!! Lets bring home the Gold. NicD91
Reading on this thread about HC coming to support Milan reminded me to send out a call to all my Powell friends. I know many of you Powell parents personally and I know one things for sure, you know how to make a lot of noise, ha, Go Panthers and Go Warriors!!! Lets bring home the Gold. I can assure you that if the Henry County faithful shows up to support Milan, and many of them will, you are going to need more than the Powell fans to keep up with the noise and numbers that you will hear and see from the west side of the state. I know how we (HC) travel, and we have been known to absolutely cover the home side of opponents stadiums. Milan is no slouch when it comes to traveling to support their team either. If these 2 fanbases merge (and they will), you are going to see an atmosphere like TTU has never seen before! I think the headcount at the semi-final game in HC last Friday night was in the 5-6000 range with HHS contributing about 750-1000. Of course they were like church mice from about the 2nd qtr. on! Anyway, it will be loud! Anyone know if the "hornguy" is allowed to bring his toys?

Show them that football is best in East Tn as always has been. Get em powell. powell by 2tds vols1234, Here to let you know that henry county is going to prove like they have all season and during the playoffs that they are the team to beat and are more hungry to win a state title than anybody. All season long and all during the playoffs, hc fans have heard about how soft our schedule was and how we havent played anybody good. We prove the critics wrong time and time again. Lets take in some numbers: henry county offense has scored 599 points to powell's 579. Hc's defense has given up 149 to powell's 172. Hc hasnt given up more than 17 points in a game (hendersonville beech, second game of season) vs powell giving up 26 points to a Lenoir City team that was (7-5) I have seen powell on film and they are a good team. Mobley will get his touches im sure but i will guarantee you that he will not get his usual 200 yards rushing. Hc's offensive line and defensive line will control the line of scrimmage all night long. Mobley along with the rest of the powell panthers better be ready for some smash mouth football cause HC will be bringing the wood all night long. Mobley better be ready to get rocked by our defense and may need an extra mouth piece and chip strap. believe this when i say it, HC will prevail in this game and bring home the gold.
