Milan VS CAK

My iPhone gets ahead of itself. Like I was saying Milan is solid up front and can get Pressur on Qb they play alot of cover 2 so it is going to be very interesting to see if Qb can pick them apart.

We see cover 2 at some point every Friday night. Cover 2, along with practically every other coverage, has some weak spots and so far #12 has been able to find them. CAK doesn't pass unabated down the field on everyone we play, so I expect Milan to be able to stop us on some series. The challenge will be to stop CAK's attack consistently. Also, CAK rushed for over 200 yds against Alcoa during the regular season, so the Warriors CAN run it too, just like Milan CAN pass it as well. But I have to admit we certainly are one dimensional most of the time.

That's the fear I have. I know they can run and pass very well, however I hope Milan doesn't allow them to get in a rythym where both are clicking. I would much rather CAK pick one, I don't think Milan can stop them if CAK is committed to being balanced. Hopefully, Milan can take away or slow down one aspect (just like CAK taking away Milan's running game)

Keep your eye on Milan junior defensive end, #7. He is undersized at d-end, but he is FAST. He lives in the backfield on pass plays.

IF, Milan's Qb plays well and loosens CAK's defense, Milan will be tough to beat in this one.

Trevor Milan (#7) who I've mentioned several times before on this thread had I believe 5 TFL and a sack against CPA. The other D-end Braxton Simpson who recorded the safety had 3 TFL and 3 sacks last week. If we can get enough pressure with our front 4 where we can drop Coleman and Graves (who has a couple of pick 6's this postseason) I like our chances.

In the Milan paper CAK head coach said Milan reminded him a lot of Alcoa. Sound fundamentals, not much trickery, great athletes, pound the football.

My favorite color combination!

Hey, on a slightly different subject, I noticed in the TSSAA information sheet/rosters for this game, in the "when Milan has the ball" section, it listed #3 as the starting TB. But in the video I watched of the Milan/CPA game, I got the impression that #29 is the starter and #3 rotates in.

Both look like good runners. Perhaps some of the Milan fans can clarify who gets the most carries? Thanks.

Who gets the most carries depends greatly on which one is the most successful. #3 Finch will most likely start and if he has success he will get the most carries. If they are able to coral him then #29 Coleman will get to try his hand. They also have another couple that will shuffle in and out for a change of pace and to rest the other two. In any event, Coleman will be the short yardage specialist and ususlly manages to break some long ones.

Based on the film I saw, he looks like a handful! And #3 looks to be elusive and very fast. The mix of power and speed can be deadly, particularly if you mix in some effective passes.

I have a question for the Milan fans. I notice the QB is good size; does he run the ball as well?
