never seen max spotting with three people with hands on the bar until westview's lift-a-thon. what a joke. might as well subtract 100 to 150 pounds off those maxes. lol. Now I know why they always think they are better than everyone...coaches con them. :roflolk:

Talking to some of the football players at the baseball games and it seems like they are making good gains in the weight room. Some of the smaller kids benching almost 100 lbs over their body weight. Are they actually doing this or are the lifting with Westview? Did you manage to get some dietary supplements from Huntingdon?

We do our new max in 3 weeks. You should come down and see NO HANDS ON BAR during the lift. Yeah, we have progressed a lot. Should be a very physically strong team next year. Coach Hodge is doing a great job this off season. We have had some kids putting weight on their bones too. Booster club, parents and kids doing a good job of getting lots of protein in them. With only 2 lifting cycles left after this one we will put on about 20 to 40 percent more power on these kids. Hope it helps our team speed.

If you want them to be strong the bench is not the judge.

 

What do the squat, deadlift and powerclean?

lol. we will post a utube video of our max in august of our power cleans, squat and bench. One the correct way with no spot...then once like westview clowns do with three people helping and an extra 150 to 200 pounds going up...hahahaha. And it will be a full powerclean, not a hand clean like mckenzie does. Maybe even show our new secret weapons... "the three amigos" for leg strength. haha
