Actually there was very little if any bragging about taking down the Pirates that season. Rebel Nation went into that game with high hopes and equally high concerns. The hard part was the flac we got from others when it was over. We and South Pitt treated each other with respect both then and since. In '07 South Pitt was as serious of a high school football team as I've ever seen. We were NOT prepared for what we ran into that rainy afternoon in Mufreesboro. NOBODY we faced coming out of the West would have stood a chance against them.

AND by the way, I make cornbread in a LODGE skillet too so there. The old slick one my mom used is better but I'm tryin' to get my new one to co-operate now. if they could just learn how to make them smooth on the inside without using them for 20 years.
