Eagleville is in the championship game and beat cascade the first game and still have to beat them tomorrow. Rippy will be pitching for cascade and Wilson will be for

Eagleville! Does anyone have a region schedule?

1st round of Regionals is May 14th. 1st place will host, 2nd will travel. This will be an elimination game. If you win you get an automatic bid to host or travel for a sectional game, lose and you go home, if you win and also win regional title you will host a sectional game. Win that and you're in State. One game at a time has to be the focus. Eagleville may pitch as many as 4 pitchers tomorrow. They have 3 seniors that haven't thrown yet in district tournament and all have done well when they've pitched this year. The highest ERA on the pitching staff is a .269. Not bad at all. I would think Cascade would go with Carkuff, he'll have had 5 days rest.

District 9A (Eagleville, Cascade) will play District 10A which is the other half of our Region (Region 5). You can go to the Scoreboard tab on Coach T and check the scores from all district games across the state. It appears that Clarksville Academy and White House Heritage are playing for their district championship. You'll have to wait and see who wins our district tomorrow as well as District 10A, loser travels to winner and vise versa. After our game check the scoreboard tomorrow and you'll have your answer.

Sorry for the dumb question here fellas, but I'm the dad of girls and I personally haven't plated baseball in over 20 years. Does the pitcher's inning count reset on Monday of each week?

Not little league anymore dummy. Good luck Cascade. I see nobody has picked up this free agent guy yet. Must jump back on the wagon every time something goes good for the champs! im just glad they have finally let him watch a complete game now. :roflol: :roflol:

Since you are lost and do not have no idea who I am or what you are talking about. There is no set limit on innings pitch in a high school game. We look into more of a pitch count.

Not a dumb question, but actually a very good one. The rule is that a pitcher can't pitch more than 10 innings in consecutive days. For example, if a kid throws 10 innings in one game (one pitch equals an inning), then they are done for the remainder of that game and has to sit the following day. If a kid throws 7 innings in a game, then he can come back the next day and throw 3 innings then he is done and must sit the next day. Last, if a pitcher throws 4 innings one day, then he comes back the next day and throws 4 innings he can throw 2 innings on the third consecutive day. Hope that is clear as mud.

Thanks so much. I played high school ball back in the eighties and knew there was an inning limit, just couldn't remember how it worked. Appreciate you clearing the mud for me.

Well, hard to say WH Heritage is 19-9 but who knows if all their games are listed on coach T, I know that Cascade beat them and I know that in a pre-season scrimmage their varsity beat our younger players 4-3 and that was with Eagleville playing no starters. I don't know the caliber of the teams they've played other than Cascade. I have heard tonight that Nashville Christian (NCS) beat Clarksville Academy (CA) tonight but this isn't confirmed, if so they would play Heritage for the title. NCS is a .500 team and would look to be down this year. CA on the other hand if they advanced is around 20-10, again I don't know the caliber of teams they've played. Cascade won the district tourney and will host whichever loses Monday night. Eagleville will be on the road Monday to play whoever wins their district tourney. Both Eagleville and Cascade have played very tough schedules and both are loaded with seniors and good, fairly deep pitching.

    • RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.
    • I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"
    • TSSAA will let them all go to Mase.
    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
